T-Mobile.com preorder thread

Told her I have 2 text messages claiming a friday delivery, no email, no tracking info etc. She said that this is happening to quite a few people and if I got the text message for friday I WILL get the phone on friday. Apparently they upgraded a lot of the folks who ordered early to next day delivery in order to get them an iPhone by friday.

No UPS track using the reference information and she said that this is due to the volume so I may not get any tracking information today and still get the phone.

Don't know how accurate this information is but I guess hope still remains ;)

I don't know how they can possibly promise that ;) That said… if I'm wrong, I'll be pleasantly surprised. It just doesn't look like mine was shipped out in time to possibly arrive today. (label created early this morning).

Model ordered: iPhone 6 128GB Space Grey
TIme ordered: Friday 9/12 @ 9:45pm EST
Shipping Method: UPS Expedited Overnight
Status: Main screen says "processing", Order status Says "Backordered"
Delivery Date: Originally said 9/17, now - no delivery date set
Card charged: Full amount charge went pending on Tuesday, but has disappeared completely as of this morning!
Texts: Wed night & Yesterday morning both!! Both saying it would arrive today.
Email: Got the "Good News" email on Wednesday night.

I've called T-Mobile to ask them for a status, but they tell me their systems are so overloaded that they can't research anything on their side. The UPS tracking number showed up in my "MyUPS" yesterday but it's listed as "Shipping Label Created" - the status has not changed in 24 hours... So I contacted UPS Customer Service. Here's a transcript of their answer:
"Our records indicate that UPS received electronic billing information for this tracking number from the shipper on ***9/17/2014**. However, our tracking system does not show that this package was physically picked up from the shipper's location. Sometimes the package is not actually given to UPS on the date the shipper processed the billing information. When this occurs, the scheduled delivery date is calculated from the date UPS actually took possession of the package. I would suggest contacting your shipper to confirm that package has been shipped."

Seriously??????
WTF???
 
LOL, I just got a text message from tmobile thanking me for my device upgrade. What device? Where? Hah!

My label was created at 5 am still no update yet

They have already begun. Numerous reports on the forum and other places that the screens exhibit extreme backlight bleed and the yellow/red problems still exist. Hold on tight.
 
Ok I've emailed John. Personally, I don't care if he replies or not. I just want to use all avenues to get the ball rolling!

Yea too late probably. My ups always passes at about 7-830 Central Time it's currently 430 CT so there's a small sliver of hope.
And I hope the Saturday delivery is true!
Robolady still says "order processing but not yet ready for shipment."
So maybe Monday in fine with Monday to be honest at least I got charged so that means it should be shipping.

Sorry if this question has been asked in this thread but admittedly I have not taken the time to read through it.

With that apology:

For those that received the "We will send you estimated delivery timing in the next 1 to 2 days" email/text - how many of you have received the presumed follow-up text/email?

I am in the second day now and I have received nothing. My card has not been charged. I am still listed as pre-ordered. I ordered at 6pm Arizona time on 09/12.
 
SO....John Legere is an amazing CEO...

my order for iPhone 6+ 16gb got canceled.... So naturally I was mad...I tweeted @johnlegere with no o response......until today

I got a phone call...from the man himself...on speaker phone with two others I explained my case...they apologized and offered to give me a iphone6+ 128gb half off as well as a $200 credit...and would get me my iPhone within 2 weeks....no BS....look at the pics below....mind blown.....

I guess they pick and choose who they want to help, kind of like how they send out iPhones for delivery.
 
A funny twitter exchange...

Hoping this can lighten the mood for some.

While waiting patiently for my UPS person to arrive, I thought I'd tweet TMO with a quick question about my trade in. They did respond in a separate tweet but also this happened. I wasn't trying to be sassy w/ VZW, BTW. Just my reasons for switching. I also did make sure to tell them I absolutely LOVE FiOS. haha.

Yea I think we might be in the same batch I ordered 6+ 128gb
yes I received both text and email that said I'm getting it on Friday and called t-mobile yesterday they promised that I would get it on Friday but didn't happen kinda upset about it :(
Hbu did you get the text and email?
