If you pay attention to the thread everyone knows that isn't true :p. They've quite literally done it randomly.

hm actually there is no noticeable pattern yet only because notifications have been inconsistent -- there is plenty of time left in the day and many people who ordered first or should have priority have received no or little tracking information & have yet to confirm their friday deliveries, don't jump the shark

Yep. Same exact boat. 128gb 6+ (gold), got the "Friday" text / e-mail on Wednesday.

(haha… There are so many boats floating around on this massive thread :p )

Oh I forgot the color haha its gold too so yes we are in the exact same boat lol
Yea I think t-mobile didn't count the 6+ inventory right lol

Just dealt with a horribly rude supervisor from Arizona.

He basically said all the MacRumor forums fudge what they say, and anyone can put anything up there; and that there is no way anyone could've gotten their shipping bumped to overnight.

I don't even care about the stupid phone anymore. What I care about is the lack of respect, lack of information, and just straight up ignorance on the part of all the TMobile workers.

I work for customer service! You need to know what's going on, and you need to know how to deal with people.

What a bunch of malarkey.

I've been watching this thread grow like crazy in the last few days. Thought I would throw in my experience thus far.

1. Placed 2 orders (1 iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey 128GB & 1 iPhone 6 Plus Space Grey 64GB) at 8:07am PST on 9/12 - Used JUMP!
2. Immediately said they would deliver 9/13 (knew it was false)
3. Got back order notification for both on 9/13 at 2:07am.
4. Received text Wednesday for my order (128GB) that phone would be delivered on 9/19. Received second text for (64GB) that phone would arrive between 9/22-9/26.
5. Received text and email yesterday that my phone would be delivered 9/19.
6. Called 8 times over the course of 5 days receiving confirmation my phone would arrive 9/19 regardless of it saying backordered.
7. UPS came and went today
8. Had online chat with a rep who said phone would arrive today
9. Tweeted John and received a response from him and Tmobile Help. Was told by tmobile help that phone would arrive today and to have patience.
10. Card was finally charged 2 hours ago.

Still no progress from here. Although I'm glad my credit card was at least charged. Maybe it will arrive on Monday. I honestly could care less if it arrived today or Monday, would irks me to no end is that I was told it was today, so I took today off to make sure I was home to receive the package as I'm sure it wouldn't be safe sitting there all day.

Transparency is key and because this is T-mobile's first go at this, I'm not upset at them, especially because you can tell the reps are trying and I know they keep getting slammed with the same questions.

I've had kind of a similar situation to you. I emailed and tweeted John Legere as well as @TmobileHelp over the last couple of days and I just now got an email from one of the directors of the company who says he is working with John Legere to help me with my situation.

Hopefully I can get this resolved and get my stinkin' phone!

Thanks. Great point. I won't call. My thoughts to call stemmed more from those that claimed their order was cancelled. But I guess if it gets cancelled, it gets cancelled. I'll just keep checking.

To my original question though, I'm still wondering whether anyone who received the 1 to 2 receive estimated delivery text or email actually received something 1 - 2 days later.

It would be nice to know that T-mobile is actually following up with an unsolicited statement they made.

Only thing I've heard is people who got the "we'll update you in 1-2 days" actually having their stuff shipped or out for delivery. Haven't heard of anyone actually getting additional follow up to give them an estimate.

uh but we can say whatever we want here and 99% of the information here is speculative and inconsistent, so he's right. and as someone who works in customer service you should be aware of how frustrating it is when customers indignantly demand information that you don't have or know to be untrue.

Nice! Team Gold 128gb 6+ :p What part of the country are you in? Wondering if geography has anything to do with these batches as well.

I agree. Transparency is one thing. Making comments you can't back up is what's going to tip the scale for me though.

Hoping this can lighten the mood for some.

While waiting patiently for my UPS person to arrive, I thought I'd tweet TMO with a quick question about my trade in. They did respond in a separate tweet but also this happened. I wasn't trying to be sassy w/ VZW, BTW. Just my reasons for switching. I also did make sure to tell them I absolutely LOVE FiOS. haha.

Yeah, that Supervisor is probably sick of the people who are calling incessantly. Must be a lot of them. Unprofessional, for sure, but I can prove that my order was bumped to Next Day Air (I paid 6.99 for ground, tracking number shows that it's next day air.) He's just a supervisor… he's not the one making the call to bump orders to NDA. Unless that is also just a weird system glitch :p

Thanks for that. Glad to know people have received something after that message!

Yea Team Gold which in my opinion is the best color for the iPhone! :)
I'm in the east coast
FL to be specific
Hbu?

UPS came and dropped off another package. At this point ive lost hope. My account hasnt been charged, and at this point if it was to ship for tomorrow or Monday i'd be charged by now. So much for losing sleep on the 12, to come to this. I understand that there was a high demand, but I would've been happier had they let me know when I checked out that the wait would be 1-2 weeks, Not over sell your inventory.

Ok so I was supposed to get my phone today but never got a tracking number. I gave up waiting for an answer went to lunch passed by a T-Mobile store walking back to my car. I went in for ***** and giggles thinking if ask how fast they sold out of iPhones. The guy said they actually have plenty of 6's.in stock. I said **** can you cancel my order. He said yes. So he canceled the order I bought the phone there. As I leave I get a text my iPhone has been shipped and will arrive on Monday. I checked ups and sure enough it is coming. Anyone want to buy an iPhone 6? Lol

I personally would still really like to know if I'm going to be waiting 1-2 weeks or 4-6 weeks. I still have not gotten a straight answer.

6+/128GB/Gold

My order unfortunately wasn't entered until 5:20PM PST on 9/13 due to one failure after another with their order systems (I was up at 3:01 AM EST trying to order, etc etc etc)

Opposite side of the country :p Salt Lake City, Utah. Sounds like it's more just the specific type of device. Here's to the wait!

Ugh stupid space gray causing all these problems

Seriously! I dont think Black has ever caused any concern in the past 7 years of the iPhone. It was the color least wanted year by year. Even when the 4 came out and they had the issues with the white people flocked to that one and yet Black was in abundance, 5S comes out and it was the Gold craze, now the 6 and Space Gray wins the title.

I finally got an estimate from them after pestering them on twitter, but it's not great - I'm basically part of the 9/22-9/30 group now.

I never felt like I was entitled to get mine today, since I wasn't able to order around midnight, but it's sickening to see orders placed hours/days later get delivered today.

I'm going to start looking around at other carriers now, and sure as heck won't be ordering my next phone from Tmobile. I just referred a few friends who switched, and now I'm embarrassed to have done so. I was just about to convert my entire family over from ATT too.

i haven't been charged and ups is en route to drop off our phones so fyi charges (or a lack of charges) mean nothing

You got an estimate, and it's one week or less. Perhaps Monday! Chill out.

I've still got no estimate, and "maybe on launch day, maybe up to 6 weeks - who knows!" is the best answer I got from CS.

Some people are going to be waiting until november!

Has anybody received a phone In houston!? It's ridiculous email and texts confirming I'd get my phone today only to be slapped with the order pending death , 64 gig iphone6 plus.. John and his tmobile reps seem to be controlled by r2d2 all responses automated it seems I called CS and they say it's coming but NOOO tracking info and can't look it up on ups with phone number just want clarity

Oh for sure. I made sure to not demand and to be super respectful.

And in my department, when someone has qualms and has any issue - regardless, we try to look into it and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm aware that all of you could be a bunch of dirty liars, but that doesn't mean any supervisor can disregard my issue with attitude.
