After going to camp overnight to get my girlfriend her iPhone 6, I went to my local T-Mobile. I knew they wouldn't have what I wanted in store (6+ 64gb gold) but they had regular 6's in stock.

It's going to take "up to 8 weeks" to get my 6+ according to the employee. #

I don;'t care that my iPhone isn't here. I have never had such a terrible experience from lack of info to complete BS being given over the phone from t-mobile. Had i ordered from AT&T I would have my device. Then to be told the Apple and T-Mobile had a 'miscommunication' regarding the amount tot iPhones needed is ridiculous.

John: "Hey Tim, Got about 6mil iP6 pre-orders and 4mil iP6+ Pre-orders."
Tim: John, no problem buddy! We will go ahead and send you over 3mil of each"
John:Sounds good Tim! Have a great one and awesome new device!

Seriously? A miscommunication? BS.

you should probably check out the att thread if you think you would already have your device, today, at not even 4 pm pacific. and clearly the conversation didn't happen like that and you know that there is no information to glean from 'miscommunication' other than trying to diffuse pointed anger. they aren't personally lying to you so calm down.

It surely isn't populated with posters repeating that communication was great and the process was orderly and fair.:cool:

Mine was! Though it is usually people who are unhappy about something that are the loudest. I think many who were ok didn't bother to say anything because it would be drowned out anyway.

My order wasn't without hiccups but every time I've dealt w/ a CS rep on the phone, they've been very nice and helpful to me. Not there there aren't real issues going on but no carrier got away unscathed in this massive massive rollout that was way bigger than anyone anticipated.

I like how T-Mobile sends me a tracking number after my phone has been delivered.

I'm packaging up my LG G3 and will ship this puppy out tomorrow. I'll miss her, but I'm happy with my iPhone.

CS always treated me kindly, just have different information from each rep.

So I was supposed to get my iPhone 6+ 64gb. Silver today according to the text and email but that's not the case, it'll be here Monday. I'm not happy about it but at least I have one on the way soon

My order still says "processed" with no tracking. What sucks is that I went to a Tmobile store after work and they had some regular 6's available, however they couldn't cancel my order in store and that I would have to call and do it myself.

After calling and speaking to a rep they told me that since my order has processed it can't be canceled. Now I'm stuck waiting because I ordered on the 17th ( on the website it still says I'd get it by the 20th) when I could go pick one up right now, annoying.

Even though I have a pending charge I'm just going to cancel my pre order and pick up the 6+ next year, I hate not knowing what's going on.

I'm in Chantilly, VA.
Preordered with JUMP for 6+ 128 Space Grey, and 6+ 64GB Silver (5:30am, 6:00am PT respectively).
Got the message about Friday delivery and free overnight shipping... no updates on the site or anything. Checked this morning with UPS with my wife's phone number and there is a shipping label saying it'll get delivered Monday =(

I thought I was sort of early with my order as well.... oh well

Well just checked UPS my Apple order just got scheduled for early delivery 9/22!

still no word from t mobile

Have you been charged yet? I've had the 20th scheduled too, never changed on the one tmo page. Haven't been charged a cent yet.

UPS My Choice isn't working for me... I got two packages today that never showed up, which has never happened before. Wish one would have been the dang phone!

Actually if you look at https://www.apple.com/iphone-6/specs/ and scroll down to the Cellular and Wireless section you'll see that the CDMA version appears to support all the same bands as the GSM one with the addition of CDMA. The article you pointed to is about the iPhone 5 (not even the 5S or 5C) and thus is quite a bit dated.

ohh, i see. i thought, however, that just because it can support that technology, that doesn't mean that the carrier allows it. but! you are v right that the article is dated. thx for the info!

on gsm, which verizon is not. but, maybe i'm incorrect. i can chat up an apple csr to find out rn

Verizon iPhone 5s + have an unlocked SIM and use the same frequencies that TMo LTE has. I have a Verizon 5s on my desk right now with a TMo SIM on LTE.

The Verizon iPhone 5 also has an unlocked SIM and use TMo's HSPA + (4G, not LTE) frequencies

the iPhone 6 is the most universal iPhone yet, withe Verizon & Sprint models supporting GSM/LTE with just the addition of a CDMA radio
