I finally got an estimate from them after pestering them on twitter, but it's not great - I'm basically part of the 9/22-9/30 group now.

I never felt like I was entitled to get mine today, since I wasn't able to order around midnight, but it's sickening to see orders placed hours/days later get delivered today.

I'm going to start looking around at other carriers now, and sure as heck won't be ordering my next phone from Tmobile. I just referred a few friends who switched, and now I'm embarrassed to have done so. I was just about to convert my entire family over from ATT too.

this was the first release of this volume and even apple is having issues with supply. the big carriers have the same exact wait times as tmobile. people who are getting their phones before you are probably different models/locations/quantities, or, if not, you have been plagued by an anomalous glitch. calm down.

You got an estimate, and it's one week or less. Perhaps Monday! Chill out.

Some people are going to be waiting until november!

Exactly! I am happy I got a charge on my card finally and give up this iPhone 6 next week for my Plus.

Oh for sure. I made sure to not demand and to be super respectful.

And in my department, when someone has qualms and has any issue - regardless, we try to look into it and give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm aware that all of you could be a bunch of dirty liars, but that doesn't mean any supervisor can disregard my issue with attitude.

sure, that's nice that your department has the time and the resources to do so; tmobile is a small carrier and is dealing with millions of the same exact questions and constantly, so i'd keep that in mind.

I've still got no estimate, and "maybe on launch day, maybe up to 6 weeks - who knows!" is the best answer I got from CS.

I know some people have longer waits -- the wait isn't the issue, it's the seemingly random order they sent them out. I hope that nobody who ordered AFTER me will have to wait until November. That wouldn't be right.

but of course. does not justify someone being rude and condescending, though.

i haven't been charged and ups is en route to drop off our phones so fyi charges (or a lack of charges) mean nothing

Thats great to hear, you'll be the second one if remember correctly in this thread that will get a delivery and no charge. What model did you order?

Yeah that's frustrating, right? Like, it doesn't seem logical. I think for myself I probably won't "preorder" such an in demand device from T-Mobile in the future. Either direct from carrier or off contract from someone else. I don't hate T-Mobile enough to want to immediately go elsewhere though.

What I like about T-Mobile is that they do separate monthly wireless rates from the cost of the device. (Contract free is nice, the device just becomes your contract as long as you owe them for it.) And they still offer unlimited data.

Truth is I could probably get away with 2gb of Verizon, but I'm not keen on another contract.

And yes like you said, I have friends who ordered from AT&T who unfortunately are in the exact same situation as I am. Broken website at 3:01 am, botched order, wait time of "who knows, maybe until November".

Verizon seems to have handled it properly, but in any event, order processing is not the network, and T-Mo is already the best network in many cities, and is rapidly expanding. Verizon and ATT are happy to leave things at status quo, which may be good, and may suck.

lol at everyone complaining that these preorders are being shipped randomly and without a consistent mechanism when their sample size consists of a couple hundred panicked macrumors posters out of millions of customers with information that is brashly deduced and unduplicated at best

i ordered two gold 16gb 6s, new customer, and ups ground

sure it does. people have bad days, bad days are exacerbated by enduring hundreds of entitled customers who are considerably more rude than i'm sure he was by entire orders of magnitude. he wasn't being personally rude, you weren't singled out.

hahahahaha, nope! These are facts supported by tmonews.com article posts in comments.

Funny but seriously, when the arguments all seem to be the same, generalizations may not be that far off!

Opposite side of the country :p Salt Lake City, Utah. Sounds like it's more just the specific type of device. Here's to the wait!

Oh cool :)
Yea I think ur right
let me know if you get a update and I'll let you know as well good luck! :p

It's not the customer's fault or the supervisor's fault. The reps weren't put in a position to be helpful, they're probably more pissed about that than dealing with the customers.

Who wants to go to work and feel like their boss is putting a blind fold on them, then unleashes them to the 'data hounds' who want their new phone?

Darn, wife's phone was just delivered and I was hoping my Plus was included with it. Slim chance, I know, but I was still being optimistic after hearing someone got theirs without being charged or seeing a tracking number.

It all started when I got up at 2am CST to place my orders. I tried via apple.com and it would not work for a couple of hours. I managed to get a pre-order but the delivery was October. This about 4am CST. Then I went to bed and when I got ip at 8am I finally got a T-Mobile order by 11:20 am. I was less than expecting I would get the phone .. however ..

I had gotten the text messages and emails from T-Mobile all week telling me my phone would ship on 9/19. I even spent time communicating with people at T-Mobile. They made no promises but I thought it was all in-order with the texts.

I never go a charge on my card and I did not have an notification concering UPS. (T-Mobile, Apple or MYUPS etc). So I got up at 4am and headed to the mall. The Apple Store at the West County Mall in St. Louis had plenty of phone for all the people who go to the store early.

So I just purchased a phone and walked out the door. It was a long long wait with all the issues I've seen with Sprint activations and other issues. We got a reservation from Apple at 7am and I finally was able to pick up my phone at noon.

So at 1pm CST I got charged from the phone from T-Mobile but sill no tracking. I also got an early shipping notification from Apple. Oh. Well.. I'll return those phones when they end up at my door.

Drama to the Max.

yeah, or even more bs in my case, i HAVE been charged, yet i have NO tracking or signs of any shipment coming my way whatsoever.

that is blatantly incorrect and misinformed, sorry 'bout it, but you should double-check your information if you think tmo has verbatim confirmed that shipping order is entirely random.

there seem to be far more people in your boat than mine, and some have mentioned receiving their phones prior to tracking information. i'm sure you will receive it quickly enough.
