Registered to chime in. Bay Area resident here. Got the same text (9/22-9/30), no charge on my CC, T-Mobile site still says Backordered. Ordered at 3pm PST on 9/12.

My sister's Gold, 16GB 6 came in today though. Ordered that at 2pm PST on 9/12.

Welcome fellow resident!

Thinking I should have gone to the Jobs store in Palo Alto and returned my JUMP! device. Could have gotten my phone today and met Tim Cook  :(

T-Mobile 'office president' staff called me just now - Basically they said the iPhone 6+ orders are of course on major back order. I should be receiving my order within the 22nd-30th date range. Although for some people this is fine but I leave next week back to SF. (Visiting parents in AZ)

Complete disaster. Asked for credit on my account, etc and only thing she mentioned was giving me free overnight delivery even though that was something I paid for to begin with on my original JUMP order. Once I get the phone, I'll have no option to call into the customer service line and ask for more then just a credit of shipping back into my account.

As some suggested, some of us actually do plan around these types of occasions because it defeats the purpose of 'pre-ordering' in my mind. Not the end of the world, it is what it is. Hope everyone enjoys their new phones!

Makes me feel special Ash. Whatever you do, don't walk into a damn Apple store today. IT'S MADNESS.

No way you received a 64GB-SG-6+ today

Just... just tell me what it's like... Avoided going to the mall today because I knew I'd want to try it out at the :apple:Store ;) I'd rather save the magic when it arrives.

For now I've got this wonderful red leather case to dream with...

I just got a txt from TMO saying my order has shipped via UPS, followed by a tracking number that is all numeric. When I plug it in at UPS, it says incorrect format..

Anyone else get the same message ? I tried USPS too and it says 'not available'

Pre-ordered 9/12 with jump in Austin, Tx. Waited 7 days for them to tell me it's on backorder. Possibly six weeks for shipment. 16GB 6+ Space Grey. Called the local stores. All said nobody received shipments from Apple.

If you have UPS My Choice Premium, you can reroute it to your parents house.

Put 1Z before it.

Has ur tracking updated yet
mine still says label created ready for UPS

Mine says the same thing. I found out later in the afternoon that if you track it while logged in to myups.com it shows the estimated arrival of Monday by 10:30 am, which I think is common for a lot of us here. But I think the fact that that info is unavailable if you track normally could mean that it might have been put on the truck before it was formally tracked? I don't know, probably just trying to give myself false hope haha. Starting to look like Monday...

That makes sense. I blame myself for not being on the ball and ordering right away, which I usually do. I would just prefer Tmobile get their act together and tell me the truth. When that rep told me that even though I ordered 2 days ago I was in better standing than people backordered who placed their order the very first day, I knew I was in for a lot of misinformation. Ha!

yeah despite knowing that i would probably not receive any reliable information i have been calling every day oop

tmobile's official twitter page already posted about giving free overnight shipping to iphone preorders

So, I've been at work all day get home to no change in the damn status. This morning I sign in to see if there was at least a label printed and found this:

Order status : Pre-Order
Order details
Shipping information
BackOrder 09/18/2014 at 02:44:18 AM
Delivery method
UPS Ground

The backorder was done on the 18th but didn't show up until this morning. So I had a few minutes and called TMO Help and was told 6 weeks to get my phone. So I got a little crazed and started asking about the text telling me my phone would arrive today, the email telling me my phone would arrive today and the e-mail stating that JUMP! customers that placed their order by Sunday the 14th at midnight would be given priority. Then I said you guys charged me. He was silent then says, yea I see that. He tells me to hold on then without telling me transfers me to Sales. WTF!!!

The order was placed on the 13th at 9:30 AM EST, and placed on backorder on the 14th. The EIP was sent back immediately.

I was checking the UPS app every chance I got and the only number on there is for the router. Now I'm on the phone waiting for someone from sales to pick up.

Wow, that was really dick of him. I'm sorry for your troubles... If I got a text saying that my phone was coming today and the rep said 6 weeks, I would have been livid! As an ex apple specialist, I try not to get upset at CS reps when the issue isn't their personal fault, but in your situation, I would have been very upset.

You try FedEx? It'd be a first (here) but who knows

Very upset. I'm waiting for SOMEONE to pick up so I can get some answers.

The only thing we know is that we don't know anything.

Another thing I know is that I'll never go through this again so I switched to AT&T.

Another thing I know is that TMobile is crazy. I don't mean crazy like the guy at the party who shotgunned 4 beers in a row, I mean crazy like that ex-girlfriend who you noticed while picking out towels in Target, then again at the pizza place, then again at the gas station...

The next thing you know you're doing 80mph on the highway and she's behind you, flashing her brights, horn honking, fist out the window and your mind flips back to the time she told you about the cute little pistol her uncle gave her...

Ok, I've lost it, I just want the order canceled or to know when it gets here.

As I said earlier, I didn't order mine until 9/17, so I am prepared for a long wait. But I really can't stand that people who ordered the exact moments you could order don't have their phones, yet people who ordered in the following days are getting them.

Unless it's an issues with color/size etc, how hard is it to do first come, first serve? That's extremely frustrating.

Just got my 6+ silver 64gb. UPS guy looked beat. Anybody else feel the + is too big

No way! The case feels fine to me (coming from a 5 inch phone). A little tall but I can take it.

However the shocker here was Mother who's used iPhones all of her (smartphone) life -- she said, and I quote, "I wish it was a wider though"

That being said, it's no where near as wide as I thought it would be. I can easily reach across the display width wise. Can I reach the top? No way without some hand gymnastics... I imagine Reachability will make things a LOT easier to handle.

Not as bad as stopping dead centre in front of your house, getting our with a package, looking AT your home and then finally walking over to your neighbours, delivering the package and drive off.

...Yeah.

Worst feeling! I wanted to chase the UPS guy like hey where's my phones?
I was in denial I guess.

It's definitely going to take some adjusting. It's big, like stupid big. What I can tell you though is that for how gigantic it is, it feels really comfortable in the hand. Androids feel awkward when they are that large. This feels nice to hold.

I got it in an Apple Leather case. For the love of God, make sure you get it in a case like two seconds after boxing. It's quite slippery. And the antenna breaks don't look bad at all in my opinion. It's unnecessary wining. Also, best display I've ever seen on an Apple device, and maybe even on any mobile device for that matter.

Just got the same model! I am getting used to the size, and it's really starting to grow on me. It's only been a few hours, and my 5 already feels much smaller than it used to. The only problem I'm having is that I usually support my phone with my pinky on the bottom when I'm using it one handed, but the heft of the phone makes my pinky hurt after about 30 min of use.
