I've decided to calm down a bit until I see some jump people get tracking numbers that ordered a 6+, then you'll see my real crazy side lol.

Just spoke to a rep who said nobody will receive the phones on 9/19. Whatever method you chose will began after Friday 9/19. Hopefully this is ********

I hope so, because they already charged my card for the full amount. This is incredibly screwed up. Everyone gets a different answer. I was told I'd receive the phone on 9/19 even though it's still backordered...

Long time reader, just made an account because I'm coming back to iPhone for the first time since iPhone 4 (long time user prior to that). Excited about my 6+ and wanted to become a little more active within the community.

Question. Anyone that pre ordered an iPhone 6 with out using JUMP! does your order number start with a letter? Example: S000123456

Mine was a JUMP! order and it began with S000XXXXXX so I assume everyone's orders are like that.

You know what would be fair? Letting the Jump! folks who were able to get an order through on Friday get priority. The system was fixed on Friday, right?

But there is no reason that folks who ordered today and will order tomorrow via Jump! should get priority over ANYONE who ordered on Friday. That's what peeves me the most.

This! I think you nailed it...

Beyond jump. Why is it that T-Mobile is the only carrier without a contract/jump link on apples page and relegated to full price sub link. Second why does T-Mobile seemingly the only carrier that doesn't have stock now or seem to know what, when and how many Iphones they will get. It appears that apple and tmobiles relationship sucks and we suffer.

All we have to do is look at the churn rate and the rate at which they are adding new subscribers. New additions far exceed those leaving the carrier and they could still offer account credit to compensate those who couldn't place an order. The reality is most won't leave just because of this incident, especially if previous experience with T-mobile was positive. New customers are, I think, far more likely to turn away because of the bad first impression and the comments here prove it.

THIS. It's also troublesome that t-mobile (at least the reps I had contact with) seems to be downplaying this. Each rep kept saying "We LOVE new customers, you will get your phone!" And every time I said "but after jump customers..." They just repeated robotically "but you'll get your phone!"

It feels like I just caught my new spouse cheating with her ex-husband lol. And rather than admit her fault, she (T-mobile) manages to F-over both the cheat-ee and me... Somehow pitting us both against her. Lol.

Mine is only numbers. New to TMO from VZN

Clarify, you have no "S" in your order number? Perhaps that's for new customers or something...

BTW, I didn't get any emails when I JUMP!'d, I only got the text messages for confirmation... I believe I signed the EIP on the last step of the JUMP! order for both phones so is that why I haven't got an email about signing an EIP or something? Because I've already done so online?

Two texts so far for both: Order placed and then one this morning about a backorder :/ Pre-ordered the first Gold 6+ on the 12th at around 9:30AM PST and then the second at 2:30PM on the same day; both using the online JUMP! interface (it took a long time to get working). Both phones have a 15th expected delivery when I use tracking on Tmo's site.

Any ideas?

Is there reason to believe that this is not being processed?

I've called t-mobile on 3 separate occasions, and the reps have assured me every time that my order is being processed that the system is just behind.

The automated system never can "find" my order and the order tracking page has not shown any activity since the order was placed. My card has a pending charge for the amt due.

If Apple divided the iph6 and 6+ according to the number of current iphones each carrier has TMO will get the least, so maybe that is why they dont know how many are getting.

I got the same.. when I called the number it said backordered. My card has temp authorization for the amount due.

Just to add to the dramaz,

I preordered with Jump online and my order number stars with S000

Same, considering both of my JUMP! upgrades I made had different numbers in 'chronological order' of sorts (first was S0007XXXXX, second made a few hours later was S0008XXXXX) something tells me this *could* be directly related to actual order numbers, in other words, it tells us where we stand in line in some way.

Order placed is what happens when you first all in your order, right? Then does it go to processing, then shipped?

----------

Ok, so my order says "processing" and "Pending shipment", so that means it's good to go for shipping, right? Why don't I have a estimated delivery date then?

I believe so. My order so far has been: "Order placed" -> "Order Processing" -> "Backordered" for 15th delivery with UPS Expedited.

Yup, I'm in the exact same boat.

They got the charges on the card, stat. I also have a separate $1 authorization as well, which I'm guessing will just go away. Funny, T-mobile didn't **** up this part of the deal...

What does it say when you call the 1800 number?
