I got an email saying my transaction was processed followed by a back order email and text, when i log in it does say preparing to ship but no eta ship date. Really considering going back to vzw if i dont hear anything next week at least in regard to an uodate in status

The Android trolls would have a field day with the screaming and wailing and entitled asshattery on display in some of these posts. Come on people don't give the trolls satisfaction. Chillax and breathe as people have said, it's just a phone (or a phone plus) not a limited life cure for cancer. If you don't have the latest IP6 on launch day, you aren't going to die (or at least not according to the specs currently displayed on Apple's web site).

And I can only imagine the hell the CSR teams have gone through this past weekend (remember they aren't responsible for what TMO did or did not screw up) so it seems kind of churlish to ring them five times the same day to check on every fart change in your order status.

Yes, I also sat up at 2am central waiting in vain for pre-order opening. Yes, I also have JUMP but don't expect that to confer magic powers. In the end I spoke nicely to a CSR who did her job and got me an order number. If it shows up on 19th then great, if not then I'm sure other stuff will keep me busy...

Smile, be happy...the iPhone 6 isn't *that* magical...

Since you weren't screwed by the lack of JUMP! having a working ordering system, probably not. This is to prevent those with a negative JUMP! experience from leaving and discouraging customers from signing up for the service.

If the JUMP! priority promise is actually fulfilled, this could work in T-Mobile's advantage by encouraging more users to sign up for the service for that chance of priority when pre-ordering devices in the future.

----------

Well, that's most likely not the case. I mean, it wouldn't be difficult to tell if they lied if JUMP! users are receiving their devices days/weeks after everyone else. By lying, T-Mobile will not only destroy the JUMP! program, they would probably cause many to leave due to their dishonesty instead of just having users drop JUMP!

I am considering JUMPING to AT&T since I did not use Jump but paid full price and expected to get the phone right away. I am not sure I am saving any mont these days with T-Mobile anymore. I think ATT might be the same or a better deal for my 4 lines that I have now.

Since t-Mobile is such an enigma with ordering the phone via Apple as well as the website is really sucking, what am I saving?

Is there reason to believe that this is not being processed?

I've called t-mobile on 3 separate occasions, and the reps have assured me every time that my order is being processed that the system is just behind.

The automated system never can "find" my order and the order tracking page has not shown any activity since the order was placed. My card has a pending charge for the amt due.

Mine hasn't updated since I placed my order either but I have been too lazy (and well aware of my lack of patience when dealing with CS reps on over the phone) to call.

It's all a crap shoot if you ask me. I wouldn't believe John Legere himself when it comes to a ship date, let alone some random rep over the phone, chat or twitter. Same for the order status online. I will be shocked if I get my phone on the 19th and pleasantly surprised if it's within a week of that.

I left to eat dinner and see nothing has changed still no tracking numbers. Lord. freaken T-mobile.

If you mean shipment tracking numbers I reckon those will start popping up Monday through Wednesday for people who ordered on the 12th (that is if Tmobile get the phones in time *and* stick to the promise of getting devices out in time).

I ordered mine on the 12th around 12:10 AM. Hoping I am in that batch.
I just wonder if we will get the phones by the 19th or they will ship out by the 19th.

So far, it sounds like to me that the Jump orders for phones calculate delivery date differently than non Jump orders. It's possible since T-Mobile is expecting a phone back from you, some piece of data is filled out on a Jump order that is nulled on a non-Jump order. Thus leading to all this confusion.

Does anyone not jumping have a delivery date?

Monday's only a day away.

I am aware, if anything I presume the earliest of orders will get out anytime between Monday and Wednesday, that's what I meant (assuming Tmo only provides tracking numbers when the device has shipped).

Hopefully, since a lot of us have had our shipment estimate moved to the 15th I'm just going out on a limb here and presume that's when Tmobile expect to ship the device from their warehouse.

Got email saying transaction has processed, but // where delivery date was supposed to be. My status will say back ordered tomorrow, right? It is on pending shipment right now

Someone heard back from Legere's people

Or so he says:

Alright folks... I have an answer and many of you are going to HATE it, but here it goes. I wrote John Legere directly (because he told me to on twitter). He did not write me back but one of his senior executives that handles his emails (David Carey) did. The guy was actually very polite and wrote me a very lengthy response that was both apologetic and definitely not what I was hoping to hear. From the language he used, it is pretty clear that any and all JUMP customers who order before Sunday night will be receiving their iPhones before all others. The reasoning is that JUMP customers have been paying $10 monthly and as they see it, it was for this very purpose to upgrade to the latest and greatest when it came out. He admitted that they did not expect to be in this situation, but that JUMP customers were clearly disadvantaged in the process and this was the best solution going forward. I am not making this stuff up... wish I were so that I could give some of you hope but you are better off knowing these details so that you can accept it and let it go, or reject it and cancel your orders. He did not indicate to me how "backordered" they were so I have no other advice to give you. :-(

Wow. I will be canceling my service. This is total crap. Jump people are at a Disadvantage? Bull crap. For those of us who ported our numbers over we are screwed for up to 6 weeks while we wait. Screw that. Being without working service is a disadvantage.

I do.

I actually have JUMP but clicked upgrade (after I woke up as 12pm and noticed it) instead of using the JUMP button (which was never loading the list of phones for me after 3am the night before)

I the trade in value of my phone is $1 less than what I owe so I will essentially be doing a JUMP without using my jump upgrade.

While I am not sure if a rep can be trusted (he was actually a technical service rep) , I was told that I most definitely would receive my phone on Friday, which I found interesting that he said Friday since my estimated delivery was for Saturday, meaning he wasn't just reading the estimated date off my order.

They already ported your number? In other words, your current phone no longer has service?

I'm unclear how porting works, but I thought it didn't happen until closer to the phone being in your hands.
