my experience has been absolute hell:
1. tried preordering through tmobile store morning of 12th. order fails because their system was down.
2. tried preordering online. credit card not accepted even when in good standing. had to call in and cancel the "order" because they couldn't reinput a new card.
3. tried preordering on Saturday over the phone. everything seems to go smooth, until my order was unexpectedly canceled on the 19th. they call me to tell me it's canceled. why can't you call me to work it out before canceling!!! I could have told my bank to allow the charges!
4. tried to preorder again through the same call inquiring about the cancellation. Guy completely screws up my order and orders the wrong phone and plan and sends to the wrong address. tells me it's cancelled and reorders a 6 plus.
5. I subsequently speak with a supervisor to make sure it's canceled. he also gives me two months of free service.
6. later the night of the 19th. I get an email that my phone is shipping, FOR THE WRONG PHONE AND WRONG ADDRESS. on top of that my credit card is already charged. I am livid at this point and call cs, who tries to give me the run around with ups, whom can do nothing to help me reroute the package. I then get hung up on twice while being transferred to a supervisor.

total number of credit pulls on me through this process: 5
I have a phone I don't want that's going to the wrong address, for which no one appears capable of helping me with. I can't get past the first level of crap reps to get proper help. and I'm looking at a 6-8 week wait for a phone that should be arriving this coming week in the first place!!!

goodness can someone help me!? I'm so lost with this order right now...

I'm sorry to hear. Sheesh! Are you using JUMP? If not, call UPS 1-800 number, give them the tracking # and have them put a stop on the shipment so they can send the phone back to T-Mobile. Then as the days go on, keep trying every T-Mobile store in your town to see if they have any iPhone 6's available for purchase. Sorry to hear about your situation. Have you also tried calling the retention department? maybe they can do something for you. Good luck!

Been following this thread for a while, ordered on 9/13 around 7PM PST, iPhone 6 Plus 64 gb Space Gray, used my JUMP! upgrade.

On my t-mobile, order history is Order Placed: 9/13, Backordered 9/14. Received the 9/22-9/30 text.

From what I've been reading the 6 Plus SG 64 gigs is the most popular device..

My card hasn't been charged yet either, and I haven't received squat since that text.

Should I worry?

If you don't receive anything this week... then its time to worry. But hopefully now that launch is out of the way and some have their phones updates should be handled better. but you can never fully trust tmobile lol

Vanilla Ice... you gotten any new updates?

Lol why not? i hope she's not waiting for yours to get there cuz she could be waiting a bit!

hahaha tell me about. She feels bad for me. The reason she has yet to do anything with it, is because she needs to back up her iPhone 5s and save her pics and so on. She's in no hurry like we are. I did though get my case. Seems like its going to be a big phone but very slim. Can't wait!

What I really don't understand, is that I see other people who ordered the same model as me (Plus Space Gray 64GB) after the time I "finally" got my order through on the website 9/12 5PM (Mountain Time/Denver). I got the "we'll let you know in 1-2 days" message and the "your order is important to us, we'll let you know soon, blah, blab, blah," and no other messages.

So why is it people are reporting (who aren't even JUMP) that they have cards charged, tracking numbers, messages, and/or an iPhone in their hands and they ordered after me? (I understand the JUMP priority, but this is way beyond that now from what I read on this forum and other sites).

This is what upsets me as well. I'd be fine 'waiting my turn,' if indeed orders were being filled in order. My favorites are the stories of some who walked into a T-Mobile store yesterday, and ordered 'my' phone for overnight delivery today or Monday.

Yeah.... i saw some pics coleman posted earlier and it seems a lot bigger than i expected but its all good i have big hands! What case did you get? Ive been looking for one! Im thinking about getting that tempered glass screen protector but I've never used it don't know if its worth it.

@Pjrufus: I decided to call CS and ask for a manager to talk to, and they were both every nice, but they basically said yes--there are orders going out of order, they don't know why, and he'll check back next week if he can do anything (but he might not be able to). I know it's not happening intentionally, but it is happening and I feel like more should be done to make it right than "yeah it's happening" but we still have to basically "wait." So for me, it's not waiting my turn in line, like you, it's upsetting see others being served ahead of me when the placed there order later (sometimes days later).

My wife and i both got the clear ones. We currently use these cases for our iPhone 5s's and they work great!

Just had a chat with t-mobile.com same hooplah they give everyone.

T-Mobile Rep: Hi!
T-Mobile Rep: We appreciate your time in chatting with us with regard to your order status. You don't have to worry as I am here now ready to do everything to assist you with your concern.
You: Awesome Thank you
T-Mobile Rep: You are most welcome. Can I please have your order number?
You: I have two of them Sxxxxxxxx and 2xxxxxxxx
T-Mobile Rep: Thanks.
T-Mobile Rep: May I ask where did you place an order?
You: the 2xxxxxxx i did in store and the sxxxxxxx i did on t-mobile.com
T-Mobile Rep: Thank you for the information.
T-Mobile Rep: Upon checking the order number: 2xxxxxxx, it shows that it is still on back order status due to the availability and inventory of the store.
T-Mobile Rep: Also, I checked the other order number and it shows that it's invalid. This should be in numeric.
You: it was a jump upgrade if that matters.
You: Order number : Sxxxxxxx Order status : Backordered
T-Mobile Rep: Thanks for confirming.
You: thats what is under my account under orders.
T-Mobile Rep: Please be advised that iPhone 6 Plus shipping time is up to 6 weeks from the day you placed an order.
T-Mobile Rep: I'm glad to see though that your phone number and email address is associated with your order (2xxxxxxx) so you will receive immediate notification once the device ships on both channels. I can assure you that the first installment (down payment) will be billed to your credit or debit card when the device ships, not when the device is ordered.
T-Mobile Rep: About your order online, I would advise to double check your order number from our Telesales so that they can also check the status of your order.
T-Mobile Rep: You can reach them at 1-800-672-5390.
You: Will there be any estimated delivery dates on specific orders anytime soon or just the generalized dates?
T-Mobile Rep: You will be receiving an estimated delivery date as soon as your orders available.
T-Mobile Rep: I really appreciate your patience and kind understanding.
T-Mobile Rep: Have I fully addressed your concerns today?
You: as much as you can i just wish the preorder process would have been more clear on when to expect shipment.
You: at time of order.
T-Mobile Rep: I perfectly understand your point.
T-Mobile Rep: Rest assured it's not our intention to give you any inconvenience at all. Don't worry I'll have this noted so that it wont happen again and will help us to improve the service.
You: Thank you for that and hopefully I wont have to wait the 6 week measure.
T-Mobile Rep: You are most welcome.
T-Mobile Rep: We will make it a point that your orders will be processed the soonest.
T-Mobile Rep: It's been a pleasure assisting such a lovely customer like you. I hope I was able to provide 100% customer service satisfaction for you today! Thank you for choosing T-Mobile! We value your business with us! Have a wonderful day! Bye for now.

Well thats not good... i ordered really early on launch day! i guess i can't really count on that factoring in too much anymore to when my phone ships out. that stinks!!

I'm not on Jump. This has been a nightmare of a CS experience. I've played with the 6 plus mock up some more and have decided that I'll keep the 6 that's coming to me some time this coming week. The 6+ has been hit or miss with my friends who have received it, with some of the guys having trouble with the size of the phone.

Ill get a case once i get the phone otherwise if i did the case now id be sitting here with it on my entertainment center going look how pretty.....

I was all worried about getting a case by Friday...apparently I have plenty of time to peruse all the options out there.
