follow up
Definitely shipping. I see the label created. I was upgraded to UPS next day air. So it'll probably ship today and deliver tomorrow (fingers crossed).
If it is tomorrow, I'll have my phone then
I did get some interesting information everyone should hear.
So:
1. Why are my orders being cancelled without notice?
Apparently this is due to the system outage from the first Friday. T-mobile had to literally move the information from one server to the next. So anyone who pre-ordered early (i.e. me) and expected a friday delivery was automatically moved to the next available batch
2. Iphone 6+ by the numbers
TMOBILE and Sprint got the least amount of devices in comparison to AT&T and Verizon. I'm not sure if this is due to the way the orders were sized, or the assumption placed by both companies that the iPhone 6+ wouldn't sell that well. Regardless, the first few batches of devices were far less than the other companies
3. Representatives miscommunication
There's a lot of that. Thursday, some representatives across the USA received a memo indicating to start the speech of 4-6 weeks. The "executives" felt that since no information was available, there should be a general message. T-mobile is fully aware we are kvetching about this on the internet and they're getting slammed with these requests. In part, it's due to miscommunication.
I'm not sure if this is going to translate into unCarrier 8.0 though.
4. Credits to account
Depending on the situation, generally CS reps are given the ability to credit the account for any inconveniences. In this case, (IMO) take the credit especially if you fall in point #1 like a lot of us did
That's all the information I could fish out.
Hope this helps
