I'd be stunned if it was really 6-8 weeks out. I think they're just managing expectations at this point, having learned their lesson that they should under-promise and over-deliver. Weird thing is that there are now what seem to be three groups (oversimplifying, since model/color/capacity matter):
1) Next week
2) up to 4 weeks
3) 6-8 weeks
LOL - ok ok ok. I have been lurking for a while.
Ordered 64GB 6+ Silver Gray at 9/12 5:45PDT EIP signed at 11am. CC charged at 5:45 for full amount, received email about delays and expect delivery 9/22-9/30. Order cancelled at the same time email arrived, funds refunded to credit card.
:/ The customer server reps say the order is still good but who knows really.

Can you explain what a partial back order is? Someone attempted to explain earlier and I didn't get it.
Not much. We spoke mostly about my order f'up. It was a cordial conversation. They are getting phones from Apple daily. It's a matter of fulfilling orders right now once they get the inventory.

According to the customer service reps it is not cancelled it will be charged again once the device is available and can be shipped. We'll see what happens this week between 9/22-9/30 as that is the only real timeline shared with me via email. :/
She said that means that there were batches that got sent out. So if you didn't receive it on the first batch that went out, when the second batch goes out, which I'm guessing is the 22nd-30th, you should get it. As in it's not fully back ordered for people who ordered them late.
If you don't see anything by Tuesday definetly try to get in contact with the executive office with Ashford (the guy on here)

I've been lurking for a while now so I'll throw in my info. Ordered Sep 12 at around 5 pm central time. I ordered iPhone 6 gold 64gb for my lady and 6 plus 64gb space gray for myself. Got the 9/22-9/30 text. Received the 6 Friday with no warning from tmobile. Woke up to a text from UPS saying it was on the way. 6 plus has said backordered from the day I placed the order. TMobile executive called yesterday and apologized for all the confusion. She said they are receiving shipments all the time and that they are working 24 hours a day. She went on to say I was apart of the 9/22-9/30 group and that I should have my phone either Monday or Tuesday.
Damn well I wish I was atleast on partial backorder. I have a feeling these 16gb don't really exist lol
When I pre ordered my phone on the 12th, I would've never guessed that I would not have it by now. I was so certain that I would of been one of those people to make a status on Facebook or Twitter about having my new iPhone and posting pics with it. Ugh.
Was only offered an option to cancel, when asked what my options were, and I'm not going that far. he sounded pretty firm on me waiting 6-8 weeks though. He said there were some sent out texts, and emails that weren't correct. So I'm bummed...

Just an update since I took a break from this thread for a few days.
Iphone 6+ 64gb Space Gray. Got a tracking number email and text Saturday afternoon. Originally got the 9/22 - 9/30 email/txt. It was shipped "overnight" but because of Sunday I will not get it until tomorrow. My tmobile order status online still shows backordered and UPS Ground shipping. The phone did travel today and as of an hour ago it arrived in my city and will be delivered tomorrow. UPS My Choice gave me a time frame of 12:30 to 4:30.
I went to the local Apple store and picked up a black leather case for it. Finally back on Iphone after 3 years.

That's good. I have no tracking information, charges, and on T-Mobile, it says back ordered. So I'm taking that lady's word for it that I will receive it this week or all hells gonna break loose.
Yea I do. She called during the Sooners game lol. How'd you know? I hope I'm in good shape. I still don't really trust them.
