UPS does not deliver on Sundays, nor can you pick it up on a Sunday. Mine was set for Saturday delivery, and they never delivered it, said they had too many packages to deliver and it would have to be put back on the truck on Monday.


What a lie... Shipping centers irritate me sometimes. At least you get it tomorrow
 
Im finally happy

I had a jumo upgrade on mine and my wife's phones. Both of us had iPhone 5S. Was able to make time to go the the local T-Mobile store on the 14th and signed the EIP on the 15th. Order status was backordered until yesterday, when out of the blue I got a text and email from them stating the order shipped! The tracking number states I will receive the two new phones tomorrow! Very happy with T-Mobile right now. I ordered the 6+ 64 gig in space gray for myself and the 6 64 gig in silver for my wife.

Ok I'm not sure if I received an auto response or CEO John actually responded to my email from his phone shortly after I sent it but it looks like those emails are legitimately reaching him so please don't bombard the poor guy unless you absolutely need to (it is Sunday after all and I promise he's just as stressed as we are since he's the face of the company).

The only reason I did it was a last resort type of thing due to my unique circumstance (you don't want it, not going to go into it) but was shocked to get such a quick response from what really appears to be him.

Crossing my fingers both for myself and anyone else still in limbo that was supposed to get it Friday.

So I got to mess around with a 6 Plus today after church. The phone is spectacular! Its honestly the iPhone you all have been waiting for! I compared it to my HTC One M8, and boy it sure feels like a tablet. But! It felt great in the hand despite its much bigger size. I seriously can't wait, I'm even more excited now that I know whats what.
 
Those of you that got the 6+, what do you think? Too big??? It's a lot bigger than I thought. Those that got both the 6, do you regret NOT going with the 6+.

Everyone that sees it is saying how HUGE it is. I'm so confused!!!

I'm waiting on my 16GB silver 6+ to arrive, hopefully tomorrow. But, I did go in on Saturday to my local Apple store and took a look at both phones.

Actually 2 thoughts struck me - 1, is that they both "seem" huge. But 2, that they aren't near large enough to replace an iPad.

So, all in all, I think the feeling of the 4.7" phone as being "huge" is just a temporary adjustment in perceptions. I suspect in a few weeks of use, it would feel absolutely normal in size, and not so large.

4.7" or 5.5" isn't going to be large enough that I get that same experience as I do on my iPad, and that isn't going to change. However, the iPad has proven to be just too large to carry around everywhere, or to use as a phone, even if it were an option....so

my thought is, after perceptions adjust, I want the largest screen possible, recognizing I"ll still feel like the screen is cramped - but the 6 plus isn't so large that I wouldn't adjust to it, or somehow refuse to carry it around. Nah, its not that different from the 4.7".

But its going to get some landscape optimized apps that the 4.7" will not - I"m interested in seeing how many 6 plus optimized apps come out. And every app that gets a layout to take advantage of the 6 plus extra screen space - will just further cement my belief that the 6 plus was the right choice.
 
Hahaha... it is going to be days before I can even use mine as a phone.

But i'm loving the camera.

But having the account holder have to go out of town for the next 2.5 weeks isn't working so well. I told him he didn't have a firm grasp on the steps he needed to do before he left....

The CS guy was great and nice, it wasn't his fault this is all mucked up.

Yep, I'm amazed that he really seems to be reading (or at least skimming) them all. I got a short reply from him on from his phone-mail-app, typos and all.

Seems that he can't or won't do anything more for most of us though. :mad:

I'm still a little shocked. It's Sunday so I honestly didn't expect that at all let alone 5 minutes after I sent it. Granted like I said I'm a bit of a special snowflake and still don't expect anything special to happen (I'm not THAT special) but none the less I do respect the man for replying on a Sunday evening.

My fear in telling is that someone will use it in a desperate attempt to get their phone sooner without it being a true legitimate case and then result in mine looking like a fake attempt when mine isn't fake :p
 
Long time lurker, posting for the first time since 2008.

Ordered 6/16GB gold and 6+/64GB silver on 9/12 5pm PST online via EIP (non Jump). Socal.

I first want to say how much this thread have helped in figuring out what's going on. I figured I wouldn't get both on 9/19 so I wasn't worried about that... but just getting different information (online account said one thing, #875# says another, etc) and not being able to figure out what's going on was kinda frustrating until I found this thread. Much thanks to all of you, especially about UPS my choice; that alone told me everything I needed to know.

The 6/16 GB arrived at my door on the 19th. Got the "thanks for order" and "backorder" texts. No text on delivery expectations. CC was charged on 17th, and UPS showed the tracking info right around when I got a text from Amex about the "card not present" charge. Got tracking and delivery confirmation at the same time from T-Mo 4 hours after delivery.

For the 6+, I did get the "9/22-9/30 delivery text" last week. Absolutely nothing after. Reading all this really gave some hope and real information. And lucky enough, this morning (9/21) I received a notification from UPS, a text from Amex, and an e-mail from T-Mo about the delivery (with matching tracking info!) all within an hour of each other. Delivery should happen tomorrow or Tues. So clearly my order was on the first two batches, and things seem to be getting in order somewhat.

Both phones are upgrades from 4S. My wife, whose 6 arrived Friday, is very happy and was gracious enough to let me play with it. As big as the 6 is, it's 10 grams lighter than her 4S (measured by the digit scale in our kitchen), and feels lighter than it looks. Certainly looking forward to my 6+ in a few days.

Again, much, much thanks to all of you who have posted with valuable info. May the gods smile upon you and speed up those deliveries!

Now back to lurking...

Regardless of how good of a story you have, the real point here is that it really shouldn't matter.

Nobody here should have to share a sob story with upper management to get something we pay for. Ridiculous.
 
I ordered first from the apple web site and was told it be shipped in 7-10 business days but then found out I couldn't trade in my old phone if I didn't order from T-mobile so I then put in an order and now have to wait who knows how long!

Still no movement on ours. I keep reading about more stock tomorrow, but we'll see.

Wife has a fully paid for 6 now, so no stress. Just waiting now so we can I guess sell the 6 Plus or something?
 
Aaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Why don't they charge me!!! Or any ups status? Wtf!!!! I ordered early as heck and everyone else is getting tracking. Man this sucks!

Hers showed up in ups Friday night, no movement till today.
Hers is sitting here in Phoenix for delivery tomorrow and no clue when mine will arrive. It can't be looked up on Ups using any method.

Crazy that her order done after mine, will arrive first.
 
Has anyone been able to upgrade there shipping? When I did in store they said I can only do ground, tried to call CS and can't get though.
