Yeah. At least your status changed. Mines been backordered since they sent out the backorder text... I don't think its specific devices now. If you have ****** luck. You have ****** luck. Lol

ironically the touch screen on my iP4 went dark 4 times while trying to enter the mobile number.
And I'm still trying to figure out why my 6 has like 6 hours 55 minutes of talk time on it... because it isn't even active as a phone!
Meanwhile, I swear i'm never going to get to use it - I cannot fathom why we have to go to a T-Mo corporate store to add a line (business account). But the guy said it last night, and the kiosk in costco this morning couldn't do it. I"m not listed on the account to make changes and such, and he is 90 miles away working for the next week+ with hours that mirror the corporate store.
I think having the phone and not being able to use it is harder than not having it delivered.

Have the account holder call and add you as secondary. All you need is his last 4.
My theory was that as you move up in the queue we went from backordered to preordered so now if we went back to backordered that would mean that people somehow got in front of us and kicked us further back in the queue. I could see this as a possibility seeing as ppl who ordered later are getting their ****!!
The "exec" who called me told me my phone would be shipped in 6 weeks. I already had a tracking number from UPS when she called. I did not tell her this . They're obviously as clueless as the rest of the reps as several have pointed out.
I had seen it'll come locked! And after 4 months you can get it unlocked! But don't quote me on that. I just think that's what I read. If you buy it directly from apple tho I believe it comes unlocked
Lol I hate my life I just typed out a long ass post about how I think the system should work on my iPhone and Safari crashed. Ugh
Exactly. Caching problems. If you refresh a bunch of times and it changes quite a bit, it's probably not actually *changing*.

My stats are T-Mobile iphone 6 plus, silver 16gb, ordered from apple.com, confirmation email received 4:17am cst on 9/12. card was charged Thursday last week, I got a shipped email on Friday. original delivery estimate from ups tracking was for today. this morning estimate changed to Tuesday.
Tracking showed it sat in Shanghai for a day and a half, but it's now departed Osaka,Japan.....yeah...tomorrow it is then....
This is my first launch day, midnight order participation, it certainly did not go as expected. I write apps, and I do own a iPod touch and iPad mini, but this is my first iPhone since the original. it will be my daily phone.

Weird... I have a gold iPhone 6 coming from TMobile.com and it says it shipped.
Even gives me a delivery estimate of TODAY by end of day.
But when I check the tracking number, this is all I see... weird?

Ok so I preordered a iphone 6+ SG on the 12th at 1pm eastern time im a new customer coming from AT&T the only emails I've gotten was to signed the EIP and the EIP had been received confirmation email I haven't heard anything else about my order on when I check my order status it doesn't say on back order it just says order processing, am I not receiving any updates because I am a new customer?
Okay! on the laptop! Does anyone have any knowledge on how ordering systems work? shouldn't it have been working like this as orders came in:

Well, as this is the 3rd time I've called CS and every time I've gotten a different response I don't know if it's actually true, but the first rep I spoke to said all she could see was 1-4 weeks on the backorder. She said there are some pluses that are in stock so I had her transfer me to find out if there was a different phone I could order. This rep said all pluses are backordered BUT she has a note that all preordered backorders are shipping on 9/25 and I should have a text with tracking info by noon on 9/25.
She also said since I chose ground shipping it would take an additional 3-5 days and didn't know anything about the overnight shipping upgrade. I was still not offered any kind of credit on my account for this whole debacle so I'm not sure what it takes to get a credit like everyone else is getting. She also said that unless a text includes my order number or tracking number, it's a general text so my texts about Friday delivery didn't actually apply to me. Not happy but it is what it is for now I guess.

Lurker here, thought I'd share my story as well,
Ordered 2 phones on the 12th @ a Tmobile store at around midday,signed the EIP there and have not received a single notification(email,txt or even Robolady acknowledging my freakin order) till this day except a "Thanks for upgrading your phone"text yesterday.
What's more aggravating is that I stood in line at that same Tmob store on 19th and secured one of those tickets(was 14th in line) guaranteeing me a phone that day!Ofcourse they didn't have any,staff were pretty much saying the UPS will send them some phones that afternoon,nothing happened-still waiting.Store called me 2 days ago telling me it would be better for me to just wait for my preorder cause they won't be getting any the whole week!
An executive called me yesterday basically telling me they were sorry and just had to wait it out, no offer of credit or anything.
Has anyone noticed that there aren't any iPhones on display at Tmobile stores at all? I think Apple doesn't have much regard for Tmobile.

lmao. like l honestly am curious how it works? it BAFFLES me that a big company like tmobile is this messed up... like how do you not have ANY info on what you are getting? like I understand tmobile only gets maybe 1-3 pallets of iphones, and may not be able to request what phones are on there. but when they are on that plane from china, tmobile HAS to know how many pallets they are getting and what devices are in the pallet.
