OK now this is weird. Just got a UPS alert that I have a package being delivered tomorrow via UPS Next Day Air Saver®.

But... it's 3.4 pounds, so it's likely the router.

What's weird is that on 9/18 I got a different, separate tracking number from UPS that's also 3.4 pounds. That one was shipped UPS Ground.

Two tracking numbers, two different shipping methods, both 3.4 pounds. Which means neither contains my phone. Am I getting two routers?

Now I'm really confused.
 
I just got an email/text from UPS MyChoice telling me that I have a delivery scheduled for tomorrow!

I got all excited and checked the package weight: 3.40 lbs. That's the weight for the cellspot router. I already have a tracking number (that hasn't budged) for the router order. Are they planning on sending me two routers and NO PHONES?! :eek::mad:

Does your first router order say "Delivery Exception"? Mine does and hasn't budged.

Everytime my text alert sounds, I jump and scamper to my phone, wide eyed and nervous fingers, hoping to be an update from T-mobile!!!! So far, only a partial grocery list and a reminder for the Dry Cleaners.... oh well, such is life...
 
well I know that once people get their phone they are less likely to stay in the pre-order thread, but barely news of anyone getting a phone today, at least the times I popped in.

Well, my phone which per UPS tracking is apparently coming directly from China - has finally found its way to the good ole USA, having arrived in Alaska 30 minutes ago.

wow...lol. anyway, UPS still thinks I will get it tomorrow so far. keeping my fingers crossed.
 
I am seeing a patter, majority of the backorder or waiting is the 6+ with 16gb.

Yeah I'm hardily seeing any successful 16gb + phones getting delivered. The few that did ordered days after me and got them.

My order went from preordered to backordered back to preorder and today noticed its back on backorder status. Haven't been charged, no label just yet. Just reassured that "9/22-9/30 timeline is certain". lol we'll see

Might be slower at being manufactured or behind because they assumed everyone would want the 64GB and 128GB models over the 16.

Turns out to be the router lol but the strange thing is ups says its overnight air and i had opted for ground when i dif the order over the phone for the router

Backorder status on 9/13 @ 3AM
Recieved the 22-30 text, but no other updates.
Still havent been charged or seen anything via mychoice or ref number tracking.

Called TMO on Friday to look for a status update, couldnt provide me with much only the 1-4 weeks line. They did give me a $50 credit though, didnt really complain or anything, Im sure they could just tell I was upset.

At this point I wish I wouldve gone for the 64 or 128, seems like most of them have already shipped. I had the cash, just didnt really need anything more than 16GB.
 
Not a pre-order but I was just able to pick up a 16gb gold from a local T-Mobile retail store. An employee told me they usually get shipments in around 2pm but have not received any plus models yet

Already have my Cell Spot ordered (regular Ground shipping, scheduled for end of day today, though only a label has been created). Naturally, since I already have the Cell Spot coming and it was ordered regular Ground shipping, this notification for a new shipment via Next Day Air had to be my phone, right?

Nope. Another 3.4 lb package. WHAT THE HELL?
 
Browsing some of the other preorder threads for various carriers and it looks like everyone is having the same headache. The root of the problem seems to be lack of supply coming from Apple + carriers not know when/how many/what model phones they'll get. T-Mobile for it's part has been very helpful to me during this process. They can't ship me a phone that they don't have - so it's just a waiting game. That being said, I still might try to get a credit towards my bill since they are shelling them out so easily.

The only guess i can have towards this whole situation is that apple is sending them random allotments of devices. Which means that t-mobile and apple need a better communication line come next year.

From what I can gather after following this thread since page 100< is that Apple gets shipments from China everyday (average 4-5 planes), and they divide it amongst the carriers in a kind of grab-bag. So one day they might have a bunch of 6+ SG models, another with zero. So it's entirely a crap-shoot at this point. T-Mobile is just trying to fulfill orders as they get the iPhones in.

Ive been thinking and I'm not hating on those who used Jump to order but i think only those who ordered with Jump on the first day of preordered should be prioritized at this point because they've ****ed this up so long that if they give everyone up to the 14th priority over someone like me who took the time out to order so damn early that **** just isn't fair considering people have already been put ahead of me who didn't have Jump and now when phones become available Jump folks all the way thru the 14th will also! thats what i call ********!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

At this point, they should only be shipped according to when the order was placed, and I ordered mine using JUMP. This crap about people ordering a week after us getting their phones now is just crazy!

Ordered Saturday morning since I couldn't wait around in store long enough on Friday.

Got the text last week saying Friday delivery and Friday came and went didn't even get regular mail much less UPS. I spent most of last week checking UPS by reference number (thanks to you helpful people) and all that showed was a 3.4 pound package, the router. Well I just checked again and I know have 2 packages, and two tracking numbers. One is standard ground the other UPS next day air saver. Hoping this means I'll have something tomorrow or anytime this week for all I care. I'm just happy to have an ETA at this point. I'll keep everyone posted!
 
Looks like at least three of us are getting duplicate shipments of the router. One from last week via Ground and another about which we got the alert today shipping via next-day air.

So weird.

Only 2 things ive ordered from tmobile, the iphone 6+ 16gig gold and the router. Router i ordered late friday evening with ground ahipping by the 30th opted for ground since it was free of course but this notice said next day air delivered by end of day
 
ohhh man!!!.............ok so i emailed john got the email reply about 30 min later and an hour later got a call from someone helping him out..... told them my situation.ordered on the 12th at 730am got all the friday txt and emails no charge friday came around went to the store 3rd in line only had 6's said if i canceled the order and placed it in store i would have it on saturday because store orders have priority BS!!! Anyways 2 hours after i placed the second order and supposedly canceled the first i was charged for the first one! No phone friday or saturday 4:30 am on sunday i get ups email that my label was created awesome!check this morning still nothing. so the lady was very nice and felt really bad for my situation and had no answers.. she said that the phone was backordered and the second order was processing so i should get the second order first which made no sense because its the same exact phone! she asked if she could look further into it and call me back and i provided her the tracking number. She calls back and says that she has no idea what that number is she called their warehouse and ups and noone had any info so she said my phone could be shipped tomorrow or in a few weeks because apple didnt supply enough for them and they dont know what apple sends them until they get it. While i was asking her if they knew that why send those txt and why people ordering after me got hteirs shes like "wait...hold on... you are going to be so happy your order just shipped!!" she was amazed the funny part was it was the exact tracking number i gave her lol all in all im expecting the phone tomorrow even tho ups says today but just proves that they are still clueless and the whole thing is a giant mess up
