I think the people who have been in contact with them a few times and have shot several emails to them got the 72 hour followup.
 
I'm sitting here with my empty 6+ case and starting to accept the fact nobody (except maybe Apple and Foxconn) knows when I'm going to get my phone. I don't know one person who has the unicorn yet. I do know that if they don't get my phone to me before my JUMP return expires, they are going to pay for the rest of my current phone anyway since it's their fault.
 
I just checked and I got an email from the exec lady I have been emailing lol, she says my device is supposed to ship out today it will be niceif it does, means it will be here tomorrow or weds

Grats! just sucks for us 64gb SG 6+ guys.... We're getting the shaft

Apple was still under the impression that people prefer smaller phones. That is why they produce 400k 4.7 inch models and 130k 5.5 inch models daily. I think they under estimated the demand for the larger phone. That being said, many people who would have been happy with the 4.7 inch model, over corrected their phone envy and went to the 5.5 inch and think its too big. So there is only so much you can plan for and the rest is left up to chance.

Truth... I came from a 4.7" phone and probably would have been perfectly ok with the regular 6. Boo.
 
Has anyone who ordered a 64 Plus Gold gotten their devices. Maybe for those that didn't order the SG could be getting updates soon. Some of my local stores are expecting pluses in the middle to the end of the month, will probably be able to get it instore before my online order is sent out.
 
Man, I can't wait to go home. My wife just called that she just received our 4 iPhone 6+ 64gb... Work sucks...lol!

I ordered 2 64GB 6's at the same time I ordered my 6+. Got both 6's on 9/22, they shipped from a warehouse in Louisville. Also that's where my Tmo router shipped from. Don't know if that's always the case but perhaps it is for the east coast.

I just know that next time Apple releases another iPhone, I already know it's going to take forever to receive it. Maybe they don't understand the whole supply and demand thing.

The delays are consistent with all the rumors about the 6+ having production issues. I think they wanted to launch them both at the same time and knew that there would be a shortage of pluses, guess they figured that was better than announcing them and then saying "Available in the Fall".
 
Received Ship Notification

I ordered my iPhone 6+ gold 64gb on the first day of preorders. I received a shipment notification Wednesday the 24th, but the tracking number didn't work. I was told by a rep that it was because my Phone would be shipping to a PO box. It said my iPhone would be here between Sept 22-30. I called yesterday and said that the tracking number was just a placeholder and my phone hasn't actually shipped yet. They said it would ship by this week, guaranteed. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?
 
Husband just picked up my phone from UPS. So happy this is finally over. Best of luck to those who also ordered on 9/12 but are still waiting.
 
Both Tmobile and the UPS warehouses are in Louisville. So are the incoming flights going to UPS or Tmobile. Tmobile must be getting them as sson as they arrive at ups warehouse and shipping out phones should be faster than other carriers.

If the unicorn you're referring to is a 64GB 6+ in Space Gray, I have one. Got it last week, order details below. Your phone will get there, trust me, they're out there.

As proof here is said giant phone covering up my giant face.

The exec has yet to call... I hope he's prepared to deal with me if he has bad news.
 
Still no movement at all for mine (aside from cc charge dropping). It's becoming apparent that 9/30 isn't happening, for me at least.
