I used both the tough armor and slim armor from spigen on my 5s (plus I used the neo hybrid on my nexus 5 for a while). Spigen generally makes awesome cases, especially if one is interested in some heavy weight protection. Check their youtube videos for the tough armor. Stylish and protective!. For the iPhone 6 i went in for a minimalistic FIT series case from spigen. It is a basic case that is slim but offers minimal protection.

Since I have jump and will get insurance, i've decided to go for a minimalistic case that protects the phone from scratches and dings rather then hard drops although i think the case and the Glass TR would go a long way in dealing with minor drops etc..

Shipping charge
Why is there a charge for ground shipping? The website says all phones and devices ship for free. Does anyone know? Kind of odd since Apple doesn't charge and neither do the other carriers.

The thing that pisses me off is I don't know when my order will ship. I wish I had an estimated delivery date, so I would know whether to cancel my order and go to a retail siore. By Friday, it'll be too late.
There's a decent chance it will, they might not ship until Thursday since many of our shipments are next day.
iOS comes out on Wed.
If I had a guarantee 16 GB 6 pluses would be in retail stores Friday, I would cancel my order immediately. Preordered a 16 GB space grey 6 plus on Friday at 2 PM PT
My commuter on my 5S isn't too bad. With the 6 Plus being thinner I hope the case is as well. We shall see if they ever make them avail for purchase. The type of work I do, I need something that will protect from hard drops etc.
That's actually a really nice case that I should order now.. Lol

Keep your preorder open. Check your account thursday.
If there is no charge still. It's likely not shipping and you will not get it on launch. So go line up Thursday night friday morning.
If you miss on Friday no worries you still have your preorder to rely on.
If you grab it in the store on friday. Woo Hoo! now go cancel your preorder and say ******* you Tmobile lol
no one seems to know when the deadline is for canceling a preorder. I assume you can cancel any time up to the point it ships.

They feel fine but no phone to put in yet. Does give a good idea of the size and feel of the phone

That's what im going off of. plus a CSR told me the funds need to be in my account so they can take it out then ship my phone. if its not there the phone will not ship and order will be cancelled. Hint Hint lol

She seems like she knows everything about the orders and see's everything. Told me my order looks good and because I ordered early on the 12th it should be shipping Thursday and delivered Friday.

I'm fine if my order which I placed on Friday is backed up a week or so. I just need to know when to Be home so I can sign for it, or if purchasing at a retail store would be a better option. I can't stand that there are 30 different answers from CS reps for everything, and that no estimated date has been given.
Im not okay with a week or so later. I sold my 5S's for much more than a trade in would offer. I have to ship them out in the next day or two so that means I won't have a phone until my new one arrives. I know, its my fault, but I had to act to get topp dollar for my current phones.

I'm in the same boat. I sold my unlocked 5S for $500. It was too good an offer to pass up. So I am without a phone until the iPhone 6 + I ordered arrives.
