I just verified that the UPS check does in fact work!

I ordered 3 iPhones early Friday morning, all through separate methods. (all iPh[6] 64gb)

1 x T-Mobile (for myself unfortunately)

1 x AT&T

1 x Apple (on AT&T)

Neither the TMO or the ATT order shows up on UPS, but the Apple-placed order does, and says that it was shipped on 09/15!

I like to think that's because we're first in line.

My best estimate is that: if you have a backordered time-stamp, you didn't make it into the first round draft pick. If your status is simply showing Backordered, but it doesn't say "Backordered at...", then you're in the Manziel camp, and will get your phones on time! (I could just be talking cr*p though!)

I think the Backordered status means they simply just don't have it in stock yet (obviously). But a Backordered timestamp means: hold shipment until further notice

Wait, which order tracker are you looking at? Link, please

Ugh apparently the system goes off signed EIP date? Didn't know I had to sign one online after my mom ordered in store, found it Saturday after the employees in store didn't tell her I had to sign one online.

Log into your T-Mobile account, then track your order on the right side of the page (under alerts)

That's T-Mobile talk for "see you in October"

Gotcha. Not too surprised. Hoping for 2 weeks but expecting 3. Four would suck.

Great, that's the one I have been using. No backordered time stamp or estimates delivery date. Just has purchase history as being purchased on the 12th, and pending shipment on 9/13 under order history.

I signed mine in store in literally 1 min after I got it and my order date still shows the 13th but I ordered on the 12th.

So, I think at this point that you're in best shape if:

- Your order status is Backordered
- You have no Backorder time-stamp next to your shipping date
- You placed your order over the phone (not subject to the JUMP effect)
- You have no shipping date, and have never had a shipping date
- You got Overnight Shipping ($24.99)

All of the above apply to me. I hope you are right! :)

All of you might want to consider finding a valid code to get a free 6-12 months of UPS My Choice. Enter your credit card info and what not to create the account (Don't forget the promo code for the free trial!) and then go into the MyChoice settings and disable auto renew.

Voila, free service from UPS to see if a package is coming to your address, you don't even need a tracking number AND you can change delivery schedules and change a bunch of settings (like updating shipment speed I believe).

I did it yesterday so I'm not 100% sure what all the benefits are other than viewing any orders that are bound to your address.

Awesome! I found a code for 6 months free. Thanks for the heads up!

Placed order in store, but other than that, all the above apply!!!!!

Well I had an estimated delivery date of 9/20 and now it's gone :(
Guess it finally saw I was Backordered and took off my Estimated delivery date :(

This happened to me as well so I went to the store to see if someone couldn't give a straight answer. The reason everyone's est delivery date is because T-Mobile doesn't have any phones yet. They won't get theirs until the 9/19 then they will ship out and T-Mobile only delivers on weekdays not weekends. This is the lamest preorder I have ever experienced and will be taking my business back to at&t at least they are honest about delivery dates

A stupid question before I slink away:

New customer, signed up online. No way to cancel and try my luck in- store on launch day?

"Estimated delivery" moved back for a fourth time today. It's moved back by a day every day since Friday.

Jump customer here, iPhone 6 Plus, ordered 2 p.m. Friday.

Estimated delivery was 9/20, then 9/21 the next day, then 9/22 the day after that. Now it's 9/23.

I think I figured it out: They put orders in as "delivered X days out" into their system, and each day once T-Mo reaches its shipping deadline for the day the computer realizes it's not going out today so it adds one day. Right?

I actually envy those of you without "estimated delivery" dates. At least you don't have this confusion to deal with.

I placed a Jump! order at the store on Saturday and the same thing is happening to mine. First it was 9/15 then 9/16 and now it's 9/17

Best bet would be to try your luck in store before canceling your order. That way you're covered in either contingency. If you really want to bag a phone on launch, you're best off buying one from an Apple store - but that will end up being at full price

If this is true..,..

This question is for all users that will use the iphone outside the United States. Ie non-t-mobile, non-att, non-verizon, etc.

I read in many forums that the recommended for those users who will use the iphone outside the USA, is to make the first activation with sim card from the country of residence (logical that the sim card should be active for international roaming), in my case Brazil.

I bought directly from Apple Store T-Mobile Contract-Free.

So, my question is about the activation process, which one do you recommend:

a) Turn on iphone without simcard, syncs with itunes, after synchronized I insert my simcard (Brazil) and makes the activation process?
b) Turn on my iphone with my simcard (Brazil) inserted, makes the activation process and after that sync with itunes?
c) Turn on iphone with T-mobile simcard, makes the activation and then put the simcard from Brazil?
d) Turn on iphone without simcard, make the restore by iTunes, then put the simcard and makes activation?

Sorry by doubts, but this is my first iphone bought in USA.

(forgive the poor english)

The iPhone bought full priced directly from Apple is unlocked. Insert your Brasil chip and connect to iTunes. It will activate. Acho que já te disse isso antes.

I have all these except for that overnight shipping! it sucks!! I wasn't even offered that option. The guy who helped me on the 12th at 4:50am was all happy **** to get my order and was like i guarantee you will have it on your doorstep on the 19th but i wouldn't mind gettin it that following week early in the week.

We should all go on strike about this shipping crap.
