Hello everyone! I finally was able to resolve my T-Mobile account issues last night, someone from the Executive Team called me late in the evening and informed me that a "Fraud SIM Block" was on my account preventing me from moving my SIM card to another phone or upgrading. This was added to my account when I was an employee, but in violation of their own policies, they failed to remove the block when I left the company. It's impossible for anyone in a T-Mobile store, T-Force, or Customer Care to remove the block which is why I was having so much trouble getting it lifted. And it doesn't appear anywhere in the account details either. With the block lifted I was finally able to order a phone, but all 15 Pro Max models are sold out anywhere near me. The best I could get was a 256GB 15 Pro in Titanium Blue for in-store pickup.

Was that the set up you wanted? I don't think compromising is worth it just for launch day unless your current device is smoked.
 
One of my phones has tracking on UPS. I was charged for one yesterday and one today, so hopefully the second phone has tracking by tomorrow or Monday! I’m so ashamed by how obsessed I am with this 😅

Phone has tracking info via UPS my choice. It appears that T-MOBILE isn't allowing signature release. Anyone know a way around this? Assume I'm just going to have to get it delivered to an access point location instead. Anyone ever have any issues with this?

Not having a job anymore has its perks. I’ll be staring out my window from 8am onward.

Last year I wasn’t home when they came to deliver my 14PM so they took it to the cvs down the street. I had no issues going into cvs to pick it up with my ID.

I feel ya! I was starting to worry about missing UPS but my husband is conveniently taking that Friday off to help with the kids and pack for our anniversary trip this coming weekend 😂

Did you choose a pick-up location on the delivery date? I won't be home to pick mine up :(
 
I ended up needing the plan change to take effect immediately so I had another rep do that. It went through right away. Fortunately, no issues and all of my promos stuck. Did they get yours figured out?
I need to call them again and have them make the plan change immediate. Otherwise it won’t take effect until Wednesday.

I’m not sure why he told me I’d be able to take advantage of promotions before the plan change is official (or why I believed him lol). They need to be more careful of what they say. Or at least not lie if they’re trying to push those new plans.

Switched to T-Mobile in July 2022 because Verizon service was slipping and no longer worth the premium. We're on the Essentials plan, but will probably switch providers again if T-Mobile is forcing customers to get the most expensive plans for upgrades and promos. Even with my company discount, the Essentials plan is significantly cheaper than Magenta Max. We don't need/want any of the extras.

Looks like other providers have the same strategy, and are now stretching promos from 24 to 36 months. Am I leasing a car, or financing a phone? 😂 Seems like the best option is to buy the phone outright (if possible) and connect to a MVNO. Any promo savings are erased by 2-3 years of being locked in an expensive plan. I'm done being "married" to cell providers like the nutcases with Verizon credit cards... 🙄
Stick with your current plan and buy the phone outright. Problem solved.

Yes, seems this thread is the slowest of all carriers and Apple.

Update: Orders still on Shipping label created and not seeing any progress yet. Anyone seeing any movement?
I’m still waiting on my shipping label 😭. Maybe I’m not using the right reference number.
