Sheeesh, November delivery for Natural PM 256 on Apple. Any chance it comes earlier? I’ve never had a delivery date that late since forever but I recall it still coming a a week or two weeks after launch even though it said November.

See if maybe you can try it through iMessage next time! I discovered it last year and did it again this year, too. I started the chat 10 min prior to 5am and by 5:15am my order was completed. The T-Mobile app and Apple Store app always wig out on me, so I understand your frustration. Glad you got it, though!
Whaaat? Is this using the Apple Support iMessage channel? Tell me more!

I hope that's not the case, as I spoke to multiple reps before today verifying that we could switch plans and be eligible.
I had read somewhere (not sure if here or Reddit) that phones on plans prior to going to Go5g Next do not count towards the "Next" feature. So you'd have to pay that phone off, then the first phone you get on your Go5g Next plan is eligible to be traded in the year after (once it's 50% paid off).
It's interesting, but when I reviewed the plan terms a few days ago that restriction wasn't mentioned. When I went ot check the terms docs earlier this morning while trying to get this done, they mysteriously weren't available. Just now, they are availble again and that restriction is now right there on the second or third sentence. Sounds like someone at Tmobile didn't think through what might happen on iPhone preorder day and are now scrambling to cover their asses and avoid a mountain of bait-and-switches.

How do you chat with them via iMessage?

It’s actually iMessage with T-Mobile! I discovered it last year when I had pressed that I wanted to chat live with a rep and it automatically opened up iMessage and you just say “live agent” and explain what you need to do. You can also start typing in T-Mobile on google and an iMessage option will pop up at the top. Apple does the same thing (but I personally went through T-Mobile because I have JOD)!

Both this year and last year I was able to start the chat a little before 5am and my order was completed in no more than 15 minutes!

So you called Tmobile's customer service, using your iphone, and then said "live agent"?

That is amazing! I will absolutely try that next time I order. Thank you!

No - open up a blank page on Safari. Start typing T-Mobile and the phone, directions, and iMessage icons pop up. Select iMessage

Here is what I get in a blank safari window on my iPhone 12 pro max running iOS 17 when I type "tm" as you did

Maybe type T-Mobile out fully. I’ve done this so many times that it’s automatic even when I type just a t or tm - that’s why my screenshot shows that.
Or type “T-Mobile customer service” and see if that works? I wish I knew why it isn’t popping up for you - sorry about that!

I also had serious issues with the website, and just called 611 and talked to someone. They got all three orders complete (all three lines are upgrading this year), and we finished up around 9:30. All three of my orders (green 15 128, pink 15 128, natural 15 pro 128) are showing 9/22.

I usually go in store but my local store was having staffing issues. So I sat there in the parking lot and called 611 right at 8. Got a 15 in Blue, 15 Pro in Natural Titanium and a 15 Pro Max in Blue Titanium, all at the base storage config. Finished up just before 9. All showing up 9/22, and to two different addresses no less.

“Upgrade-ready Every Year: Available only for qualifying new financed devices purchased on Go5G Next plan; existing devices are not eligible.”

This is from t-mobile’s site

If I order finance thru T-Mobile from Apple am I able to let’s say return the phone and cancel it if I don’t like it or the color? I remember being able to do that.
