Awesome! Now I can’t even try on my own. I was getting errors in the app. Now it says TMO has locked my account. Call or wait 24 hours for the account to unlock.

My T-Mobile online account is now locked. So I can’t log into my account to try to place an order. This is a s**t show! Can you access TMO from a computer browser ?
That's what I used for my wife's Go5G upgrade.
TMO webpage loaded 3 minutes BEFORE 5 am which was shocking because the Apple webpage opened up 5 minutes after 5 am.
You should go into a TMO store and have them place the order. My T-Mobile online account is now locked. So I can’t log into my account to try to place an order. This is a s**t show!
Same hereI have Go5G Next and the Apple site won't let me upgrade through the site. It tells me to go to T-Mobile.
What?! That explains why it was telling me I was ineligible at checkout. That’s insane.I was just told the following via T-Mobile DM on X:
“That’s a good question, and I want you to be able to get your hands on the phone you want. It appears this year the decision has been made to only offer the base model on JOD. That being said, you’ve been a great customer for a long time, and I want to make sure you’re able to preorder the phone you need. It appears last year for your JOD you paid $450 at signing, and $25 per month. If I can help to get you that same pricing with a loan rather than lease, would that be something you’re interested in?”
Is your current phone paid off enough to be eligible for upgrade? I had to make a small extra payment about a month ago to ensure that I'd be at 50% paid on my phone ahead of today. The other two phones we upgrade last year haven't hit that mark yet, but since I made that one extra payment, mine has been showing as upgrade eligible. Wonder if that's the hitch.Same here
I would try giving them a call. The website was having all sorts of issues. But the rep. was able to do it for me.Has anyone had luck upgrading using the Yearly Upgrade option? I currently have a 15 pro, on Magenta Max, with the yearly upgrade on the account, but it's only letting me upgrade via Jump
I'm on the phone and they are telling me since I upgraded prior to 12/7/23 (to iPhone 15) I have to upgrade via Jump (which means I get this phone paid off, but I lose out on the promotion so pay $40+) then I can use the yearly upgrade after that (after 6 months of payments).I would try giving them a call. The website was having all sorts of issues. But the rep. was able to do it for me.
Yeah, that's what they told me. This is the opposite of what I was told just a few days ago, both via chat, and over the phone. And I don't understand why or what the actual issue is.I'm on the phone and they are telling me since I upgraded prior to 12/7/23 (to iPhone 15) I have to upgrade via Jump (which means I get this phone paid off, but I lose out on the promotion so pay $40+) then I can use the yearly upgrade after that (after 6 months of payments).
Which I'm having trouble understanding considering I have the yearly upgrade active on the account already and has been since December of last year.
Sounds like I got screwed over by upgrading just prior to them getting rid of iPhone Forever. Had I updated after that came out I'd have been eligible for the yearly upgrade now.Yeah, that's what they told me. Yeah, I'm just confused by all of this, and all of the different answers and explanations that contradict each other, from the tmobile reps.Sounds like I got screwed over by upgrading just prior to them getting rid of iPhone Forever. That happened to me too. I was already on the phone with customer service though and after being on the phone with a representative and their supervisor for an hour they told me that they could not send me a confirmation email but assured me that my order went through. I didn’t believe them so I did some digging around for an old email for additional help and then went back into the app and was able to successfully placed an order inside of two minutes. It was all rather silly.anybody else having issues? I get to the end where I put my payment info in and then it fails. Keeps saying to try a different payment method but I’ve tried 4 different cards
Yeah, I had to do the same. $45 payment brought me to the halfway mark, just like last year. It’s weird, though that they don’t really make this well known, I don’t think anyway, so you don’t know until you try to do it and can’t and then you have to hope that you get a rep that knows to tell you to do that. I made that payment a few days ago and then checked in again last night to make sure it actually went to what it should have went toward. Is your current phone paid off enough to be eligible for upgrade? As I understand it, they changed the terms around bill credits this year. If you pay off the phone early you forfeit the remainder of the credit. However, if chose the T-Mobile carrier trade in when buying through Apple, it says the phone will be unlocked. I don’t know if that applies to buying it straight from T-Mobile (I’m pretty sure they used to lock it during the financing period). So how does the trade-in work for Tmobile and these "Go5G Next/Go5G Plus" (for the 55 versions) plans? We just send them in, or drop them off at a Tmobile store after the new phone arrives? Asking because I've also never upgraded through TMobile before...
Also - I just tried to sign in on TMobile's website and got an errorBodes well for tomorrow morning...
Talked to someone on X too. Sounds like if you upgraded after 12/7 of last year you can do the yearly upgrade now. If not, you have to wait until you're able to upgrade again. Guess this is because you'd technically still be on the iPhone forever program (if you got it with the 13). This aligns with how the website is treating the upgrade so I'm inclined to believe that despite what I was told by other reps.Yeah, I'm just confused by all of this, and all of the different answers and explanations that contradict each other, from the tmobile reps.

In my case I can technically upgrade now via jump, but then I have to pay $42 a month. So just gonna wait until next year. I'll have own the phone by then so I can trade it in and get promo for the upgrade. Then I yearly kicks in automatically and then I can upgrade once a year after 50% is paid off
This happened to me last night! So annoying. You need to be connected to their technical team and they can reset your account by connecting it to a different email address.Awesome! Check the fine print. Usually the date that matters is when you SEND the device, not when they RECEIVE it.Have a few questions regarding trading in my 14 Pro Max via T-mobile vs. Apple, I'm on Go5G Plus.
T-mobile:
Trade-in offers me $830 (part instant, part bill credits over 24 months)
Phone locked to T-mobile
30 days to trade in phone
As I understand it, I can get this same deal on the Apple site and the phone will be unlocked but I only have 14 days to send in my trade in?
I am leaning towards buying the phone via T-mobile because I need the 30 days to trade in my current phone. I am overseas and won't be in the US for a bit. I am having someone bring the phone to me and then bring my current phone back to the US. If I do this via T-mobile, what are their rules on unlocking? Do I pay off the phone to allow unlocking and they continue with my bill credits?
Thanks!
