Got in at 7:03 local time and have to wait until Oct 2-7 to receive my White Titanium iPhone 16 Pro Max. Oh well, you know the world is not going to come to an end if Tommy Two Shoes doesn’t get his new phone on September 20. But then again seeing the mess the world is getting itself into, who knows. Maybe I’ll be wrong.

I’ll enjoy seeing you guys posting your adventures in getting your’s. It also gives me time to get a case (Apple clear Mag Safe) and a screen protector so it’ll be well protected. I haven’t found anyone yet with screen protectors for the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Amazon has them. I ordered one for my 16 Pro Max a couple of hours ago.

tmobile.com is selling iphone 16 for $929 and iphone 16 plus for $1029. That's a $129 increase from the standard price over apple.com.

I preordered iphone16 plus at apple.com to save the $129.

Had been trying to process my Yearly Upgrade since the preorder went live through the website. Wouldn’t let me get past the trade in information. Computer, app, web browser. I was super frustrated.

I stopped in Sam’s Club. Corporate T-Mobile kiosk employee took less than 10 minutes to order a 16 Pro Max 256B in White Titanium with delivery on 9/20. Just had to pay the tax, no upgrade fee. They paid off the remaining on my 15 Pro Max, and I’m getting $1000 off the new phone with my plan. And a Sam’s gift card on top of it.

I was pretty frustrated online but the little kiosk when I was shopping in Sam’s made my life much easier.

How long were you on your current plan, I'm assuming it's the Go5g Next plan?

Yeah it’s the Go5G Next. I got a decent deal when I signed up a year ago, but even on the Go5G Plus plan I think they said it was $830 off with trade in so you can get a pretty decent promotion plus they pay off the other half of the device.

ok thanks. Now they are telling me that the problem for me, is that I wasn't on the Go5G Next plan for 6 months. They never told me that I had to be. In Fact, the rep that I was speaking to me on 9/10, suggested that I switch to the Go5G Next then.

Unofficially, I can confirm through a reliable person that works there that you definitely don’t have to be on it for 6 months. That ludicrous. The verbiage in t-mobile’s promo literature states “on or switching to” to get the $1000 off. If you even switched when your billing cycle started, you’d be good.

Dang reps be making up stories lol.

I've been pre-ordering directly from T-Mobile for years, with little to no issues. This year was completely abysmal, I was able to get in to the pre-order screen 10 minutes before pre-orders went live and to end of the process, collecting payment, but kept getting payment failed no matter how many times I tried. I gave up trying to do it from my phone, and tried my laptop, same issue, until it gave me the dreaded 'Our server is overloaded, please try again later' message. I tried calling and the wait time was over an hour. I tried messaging with T-Mobile and T Force, but they kept asking me to verify my account over and over and wasn't getting anywhere. I was trying to order the iPhone 16 Pro Max 256GB Desert Titanium. I finally gave up with T-Mobile and went directly through Apple. The 256gb pro max was giving mid October ship date and no pick up at the store available, which was disappointing. However, I tried the 512gb pro max desert titanium and it was giving the same mid October ship dates but had a store pick up available on the 9/20 launch date. So I guess this year I got myself a little storage upgrade. Looking forward to doing the yearly week long hell of a wait till launch date.

yep, I switched to it when the billing cycle started, but they still wouldn't do it. However, I just got off the phone with a supervisor that said she could override it, and said that she placed me in a queue to be upgraded within 48hrs. We'll see.

I was finally charged! I can relax lol. Now to just decide between the green or pink Otterbox Lumen. I like the pink more but I think the green would go better with Desert Titanium.

Does your order status show SHIPS by or DELIVERS by 9/20?

For those that pre-ordered on T-mobile this morning, does your ship date show SHIPS BY 9/20, or DELIVERS BY 9/20? I had some delays due to recently changing my plan and had to call in, resulting in placing my order about 10:30 am. At the time I was placing the order, it showed delivery by 9/20, but now my order status page shows:

Processing - Ships by 9/20

Not that it's a big deal if I don't get it on launch day - but I'm going to be in Oregon for work, and had it deliver to my hotel to not only get the phone on launch day but also save $100 in sales tax! But if it doesn't even ship till 9/20, I may fly home before it arrives. So wondering what everyone else's order status shows?

Mine says ships by. It’ll arrive on the 20th.

Hey everyone, I’ve always pre-ordered through Apple.com, but today the T-Mobile app opened up before Apple’s did.

So, I’m curious—where does T-Mobile ship their iPhones from? Do they ship from within the U.S. next week, or do they ship like Apple, starting today from China?

That’s a good question. I’m not sure. I can’t completely remember from last year, but I want to say the first update to my tracking came from Kentucky, and I’m in Ohio. That doesn’t tell you much though. Whatever they do, it works to get us our phones on release day.

I was told on Reddit that T-Mobile charges you once the phone ships. My order was confirmed at 8:03 this morning and my bank was finally charged a little before 4pm.

Check the fine print. Usually the date that matters is when you SEND the device, not when they RECEIVE it.
Yea it doesn’t even matter anymore. T-mobile changed their policy in July, you lose bill credits if you pay off your device. I had to buy full price from Apple to get an unlocked phone.

Ohh... maybe it's the same route as with Apple?

Usually, it's China, South Korea, Alaska, Louisville, and then it arrives at your location.

I haven’t been charged yet, though. I'll check tomorrow... it was with a credit card:$

So, I just checked my two orders via the T-Mobile website, and noticed that they added a $30.42 monthly credit because I have the Business Ultimate Unlimited plan. That's saving me $730 a phone. I checked out so fast this morning that I skipped right past it. When did they start giving these kinds of credits for business lines?

I'm shocked that if you go to T-Mobile right now to pre-order, you can still get the iPhone 16 Pro Max with a delivery date of September 20th for various storage options and colors.

the rep on phone are stupid. **** up all the math. asked me to pay $50 for 24 mo with upgrade. very frustrating process with T-mobile this year
