Just read this. Seems to be only if you did a trade in, which I didn't. Damn it.

I'm supposed to send my phone to this chick on the ER team once I get my new phone. Please believe I will be calling her to ask her how I can take advantage of this here deal. LOL. $5 per month + $8 insurance makes the 6s $13 per month. Can't beat that with a stick (based on what I was paying AND the fact that I'm a new JOD customer so couldn't take advantage of what was going on around Labor Day)!

Shut the front door!

Is he for real for real?

How do we do this? Bumrush the T-Mobile store on launch day? LOL!

Just the THOUGHT of calling customer service to set this up once I get my phone is....

Saw this too. Exciting! BUT, you have to trade in your phone. I'm not sure if they'll give you the value for it. Do the math, and a $28/month iPhone plan vs. a $5/month iPhone plan is only $276 a year. The iPhone 6 is worth much more than that.

Not a year, thats 18 monthly payments.. 414$

That's too bad. I'm sorry. Hope you end getting the model your looking for!
I noticed they upgrade the shipping dates for pre orders placed today online at T-Mobile too. Yesterday a few of the higher ones were showing 2-3 weeks. Now they show by 9/25.

Mine shows delivery date of 09/25. I got it on the 12th because it was my birthday. I felt all elated that pre-orders were on my birthday...

I wasn't going to upgrade this round but the coincidence pushed me.

I just checked the status of my order and it is showing this:

Item: Apple iPhone 6s - Space Gray - 128GB
Status: Your device is reserved in our warehouse. Item will not ship until all items in your order are available. Please call 1-800-937-8997 if you would like for the items in your order to ship separately

Item: Apple iPhone 6s - Space Gray - 16GB
Status: Your device is reserved in our warehouse. Item will not ship until all items in your order are available. Please call 1-800-937-8997 if you would like for the items in your order to ship separately

Item: Apple iPhone 6s - Gold - 128GB
Status: Expected to ship by 09/24/2015

I called and they said that my order is partially backordered. They can't split the shipment without cancelling and creating a new order. I thought they had plenty of stock of the 6s gold in all sizes so one can only wonder what the hold up is. Anyone else's order look like this?

Yes. My order looks like that right now, with one SG "reserved in warehouse" and one RG "Expected to ship by 9/24"... However, my status page shows status as of 9/21. My card was charged last night though - and this morning I found a tracking number via UPS "track by reference" with my phone number. Later this afternoon, I received a text from Tmo with the tracking number.

Exactly. Love the gusto TMo has with these aggressive offers and taking it to their competitors but, as I've said before, there is no free lunch. iPhones have phenomenal resale value. Swappa, CL, eBay would all likely yield a lot more. T-Mobile, as much as they love their customers, love their money more and they don't make offers to be nice. They are accountable to their shareholders to make money.

I was wondering, what is a best way to get this iphone, the cheapest way?

Im on reg jump, was paying iphone 6 plus 16g for $31 a month(since 11/25/14, 0 down just paid for taxes so i paid for 10mo X $31 = $310 and taxes) then for my 6s plus 64 gb i paid $99 for downpayment and $70 for taxes so paid total of 169.99 And pay same $31 monthly fee. My next upgrade is not till end of November again but i prob wont even upgrade till next iphone comes.. I still have to return this iphone 6 plus when i get my new iphone 6s plus RG 64gb.
Idk if i should change to JOD or if it benefits more when i just pay it off or not.. Im confussed..

T-Mobile soft-announced some new JOD pre-order plans if you trade in an existing device.
- $5/mo. = trade in an iPhone 6
- $10/mo. = trade in an iPhone 5s
- $15/mo. = trade in an Android phone

No info for existing 6+ users. Might be because of supply constraints. Full press release in the morning.

When I sell mine, I always make enough to pay at least 60%-70% of the new device. This time it was about 50% but I moved up in storage.
I'm staying on traditional JUMP so I can continue to do this. Plus I've sometimes had dual EIP installments on one line (I just wanted two different devices to alternate), I don't think this is possible with JoD.

so my order status says now will ship on or before 9/24 i checked my ups tracking and still shows label has been created no info there however i talked to ERT yesterday and he told me everything is fine i do have over night shipping and ups has no emailed me yet neither so I'm hoping this will change soon.

I'm in the same situation. I hope by tomorrow or Thursday we get more updates on the phone.

I've noticed that reviewers on YouTube have the phone early. I'm sure Apple sent/gave it to them in advance to review. But it gets me even more excited for my phone. Ordered mine in Rose Gold and it looks amazing! I hope I get it Friday. My shipping info still says ready for UPS.

When is this?

Again has anyone's status changed from oct 2-Oct 16 to shipped or got a tracking number. I'm still so confused on even though they said they have problems why are some ppl here getting tracking for multiple orders and for the rose gold 16g 6s plus. Please up my spirits someone. Ugh

I haven't seen anyone's status change from that to shipping 9/25 :( Sorry.

John also states that this offer is for people who already preordered. I just used my jump, I wonder how this could work.

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear, as I was comparing a traditional 24-month EIP versus a traditional 18-month lease with payoff. Yes, in the case of the previous Amped JOD and the current JOD, we are all getting a discount this round. I was only trying to diffuse previous arguments that leasing in general wasn't worth it, and financing was the way to go.

Ah gotcha.

Another poster in this thread claims that his Amped JOD will get him $12 off his bill per month with the same payoff as mine on the 6s Plus 64gb... I wonder if it's true... Kind of wish I did that deal now... I didn't jump on the Amped deal last month because when I asked Tmo (over the phone and in store) about it they couldn't give me straight answer on anything... :(

I'm assuming T-Mobile won't pay you for the value of your iPhone 6 to get the $5 a month. Aka that's a loss of around $500. And the savings from $28/month to $5/month are not enough to justify not selling my iPhone independently.
