Don't give me that nonsense. First of all, I always sell my phones in perfect shape with perfect boxes. My 6+ box was fine, as was my 5S, 5, and 4S.

Secondly, I know this wasn't delivered by USPS, but we have the worst post office hear and anything shipped via USPS in a bubble mailer either comes destroyed or stolen and I've had THOUSANDS of dollars of merchandise stolen from either the local post office or the main incoming one in Santa Clarita. I've written twice to the US Postmaster General and nothing has been done. To make matters worse, we don't have one regular driver. We have a different driver every day!

And as far as a box being just a box, I don't have your mentality because I work in a industry where we design and make very complex and gorgeous boxes and packaging designs. And that doesn't give UPS a license to toss my $1035 phone around like a brick! And T-Mobile shouldn't be so stupid as to put an IPHONE in a bubble mailer!!! Because even the plastic tray inside your "just a box" was dented, too! Fortunately, it BARELY missed the phone though I haven't examined the phone yet really. I have no inclination to do a full new installation and retype everything so I'm just re-installing public beta 9.1 version 2 so I can restore. As it is, I still have to move the 90GB of so to a new iTunes library from my phone and transfer it back to the new one, which I'm not looking forward to but knew it would have to be done. Just not today....

Now time for some sleep.

Why do you always include long lengthy stories that are not even relevant to the topic you're discussing? What on earth do your past problems with the US Postal Service have to do with the shipment/delivery with UPS?

Don't get me wrong, I understand not wanting to get an iPhone box that is really beat up...I really do. But the long off-subject diatribes don't make any sense.

That dude is a ***** space cadet man. Totally bonkers. Ignore option is wonderful.

No, when I pay good money for something I expect it to be handled with care and arrive perfect, as every other one has.

To everyone complaining about getting your phone delivered in a bag, if Tmobile had to package these in boxes you probably wouldn't be getting your device on launch day.

Not true at all. Apple, Verizon, and Sprint have all shipped them in boxes to me before. Didn't you see the pictures of the palettes this time? They were full of boxes. But Apple actually puts proper inserts in there so nothing gets damaged.

BTW, 3D Touch is quite hard to nail down. I adjusted sensitivity to Light and found you still you have to push really really really hard to get the POP, i feel apple should update the OS and add more sensitivity options before I break my screen.

How long after ordering did it take you guys to get your estimated arrival emails?

I remember we talked earlier in the thread. I ordered after you. Ordered around 4pm Utah time yesterday and I ended up receiving both of my phones today. It took about 2 hours for my tracking progress to pop up on ups.

I work in Logistics and my company ships electronics. Hundreds of thousands of items per day. Shipping in boxes often require the items go onto conveyors to pack stations where someone must build a box, add packing material, tape the box, then apply a label. Packs are quick and easy to seal. Not that they couldn't put them in boxes, but the process takes longer.

Last year they shipped my 6 Plus with Next Day Air for free. Got it on Saturday.

Yeah but not everyone was able to get that service and honestly, last year T-Mobile was in total 'save their ass' mode, that they were doing almost anything to make the preorder people happy.

If your phone is delivered tomorrow, that really would be great!

Would be curious to know the logistics of UPS' Ground Logistics. Phones are due in on Monday in the West MI area...so far it has gone from Louisville to Indianapolis to Ft Wayne to Maumee, OH.

I was excited to receive my iPhone 6S today until I tried to complete setup. I have the dreaded "Slide to Upgrade" issue. I tried to Update and Restore via iTunes, but the upgrade server is not available.

I'm stuck with a $750 brick. Well played, Apple/Tmo...well played.

Hey you're in Atlanta. Did you receive your phone?

To add to the list of things that T-Mobile told people that did not happen: No information at all in the package about returning the old phone. No Directions, No Return labels ,no bag (or bags as I was told.)

As I suspected, T-mobile outsources their logistics for both outbound logistics and returns.

I'm not sure who is handling the importing of the phone for T-Mobile (it could be UPS, or a freight forwarder). Phones get delivered by the pallet to Ingram Micro's facility in Louisville, where they are applied to orders, packaged for shipping, labeled, and handed to the carrier.

Being in Logistics, I find this fascinating. Nerdy, I know.

I don't know if this wil affect deliveries but highway 285 and 400 are sorta shutdown where they meet because of a tractor trailer turnover.

This is for Atlanta folks.

They screwed up my JUMP! On Demand 16GB 6s in Rose Gold order, sent it ground. Phone is 100 miles away in Columbus, OH. Going to drive to Columbus tomorrow to get said iPhone. Not waiting for a Monday delivery.

Somebody from T-Mo HQ called me as I tweeted Legere, they apologized and gave me a $100 bill credit.

For my personal iPhone (the JUMP! phone is for a family member), I had to pay full price at the Apple Store today for a 128GB 6s Plus as their computers were glitching and saying I wasn't EIP or JUMP eligible. Will have to deal with that come Monday... :/
