Of course t-mobile had to cheap out and use Next Day Air saver instead of Next Day Air.

Lol, well of course they did.

Everyone has to remember that T-Mobile doesn't have the years of experience that the other carriers have doing iPhone preorders and getting them all shipped out properly. Last year was an absolute disaster as they're computer systems were not equipped to handle the load. Apparently they didn't make the necessary corrections for this year as they shouldn't have been doing paper orders this year but I think that they are learning. Last year they lost a lot of money making amends for all the problems. That alone should have been a wake up call to them.

Totally unacceptable!! I'd like to punch the T-Mobile and UPS people responsible for this damage to my phone box in the throat. And the letter says to get a credit with Jump trade in you must used the enclosed bag, which wasn't enclosed, only a sticker label. And the bag is wretched and I'll show you the bottom half, not the top because it has personal info, but that half was twice as bad. Such a disgrace. Sprint and Apple ALWAYS put them in boxes, and I even asked the rep this time about that and he assured me it will be double boxed. Yeah, blow it out your a**! Wait until I get ahold of T-mobile. Guarantee you I'll get at least a $50 credit for this.

Last year they shipped my 6 Plus with Next Day Air for free. Got it on Saturday.

chill its just the box.. what were you going to do with it? sell it on ebay?

Don't give me that nonsense. First of all, I always sell my phones in perfect shape with perfect boxes. My 6+ box was fine, as was my 5S, 5, and 4S.

Secondly, I know this wasn't delivered by USPS, but we have the worst post office here and anything shipped via USPS in a bubble mailer either comes destroyed or stolen and I've had THOUSANDS of dollars of merchandise stolen from either the local post office or the main incoming one in Santa Clarita. I've written twice to the US Postmaster General and nothing has been done. To make matters worse, we don't have one regular driver. We have a different driver every day!

And as far as a box being just a box, I don't have your mentality because I work in a industry where we design and make very complex and gorgeous boxes and packaging designs. And that doesn't give UPS a license to toss my $1035 phone around like a brick! And T-Mobile shouldn't be so stupid as to put an IPHONE in a bubble mailer!!! Because even the plastic tray inside your "just a box" was dented, too! Fortunately, it BARELY missed the phone though I haven't examined the phone yet really. I have no inclination to do a full new installation and retype everything so I'm just re-installing public beta 9.1 version 2 so I can restore. As it is, I still have to move the 90GB or so to a new iTunes library from my phone and transfer it back to the new one, which I'm not looking forward to but knew it would have to be done. Just not today....

Now time for some sleep.

This forum thanks you for your contributions. Enjoy your phone and your box.....

While I do think the bag is stupid and not how I would ship iPhones, I have to say that mine arrived in good shape with only tiny and I do mean tiny dents in the top and bottom edges of the box. But yeah I hope we will see boxes next year.

Alright time to come clean. How many people did this.

Heard a diesel
Looked out window
Saw UPS
Stalked him from the corner of your window out of sight as he parked in front of your house
Ran to the door
Sat there for about 3-4 seconds after he knocked so it didn't seem like you were desperately waiting
Lol I've done that before

So the UPS truck came pulled up in my driveway and by the time I went to the door he was gone and didn't leave anything. WTF man

Edit: The site changed to delivery on Monday. I called UPS I should be receiving a call back in a hour. I'm so pissed

Got the T-Mobile 6s from Apple Store, received the a1688.

Received it, popped my international carrier SIM and was automatically unlocked.

That's because it's not the one with the extra band. The 1687 is the GSM one with the extra band. Verizon and Sprint phones are always unlocked. I got the 6S+ 128 and it's a 1687, and I'm getting an extra bar. It also had a weird international phone number programmed into it which didn't happen with the 6+. But that changed once I entered the new SIM # and manually corrected it, though it still asked me if I wanted to add that crazy long number to FaceTime.

The weird thing though is when I went to activate it before I updated the SIM is that it said it activated it over CDMA. But it has a T-Mobile SIM in it and came locked.

Sounds like you should get it around Tuesday
Possibly but my EIP was signed on 9/16, CC was charged on 9/20, label printed and tracking number assigned on 9/21, device shipped on 9/24, and will arrive on Tuesday 9/29 so if it doesn't make it by Tuesday, don't be surprised.
