Look on your EIP. For me (i'm on JOD) I payed tax on my $199 down payment and then my EIP shows the rest of the tax divided out between the monthly payments.
A lot of my stuff has $0 lol I was extremely lucky and didn't have to put anything down and got the "free" memory upgrade from what I was going to order (16GB) and they got me a 128GB. It says total payments by the end of the lease is 772.53 with a payout option of $228. So, I am assuming that the sales tax is added into the monthly payment. I wasn't sure if I would see a 1 time "sales tax" on my first bill. Thank you!

If you have JOD and have not received your EIP email by now I would call and insist they reorder the phones. I have been thru all of this since Saturday. Placed an order for 2-64gb phones, never received anything. Talked to customer service numerous times since Saturday. Finally yesterday they admitted the orders never went thru. They say that I wouldn't lose my place in line since my account showed so many notes regarding the ordering issues. Got them reordered and immediately received my EIP. Finally today I'm actually showing an updated order status. This has been a terrible first experience pre ordering thru T-Mobile but I must say that the customer service response is quick, just may not be the result you're looking for.

I'm assuming the order numbers are in order, If so would a order number of 6241xxx be a potential launch date delivery?
Honestly, I don't think anyone is going to have any idea until next week. I can tell you mine is a 606xxxx if that helps, but popularity of the different phone configurations is certainly going to be a factor too.

Worked for me, I went from my iPhone 6+ 64GB and signed off on a 128GB iPhone 6s+ and she assured me numerous times that it would still be $19
What does your lease say? That's the issue here. A lot of us were told it would be $15 a month or $19 a month but the lease document says otherwise.

My lease agreement says $34 a month for 64gb, even though the rep said it was supposed to be $32 and I would get the $12 credit to make it $20. This has been such a cluster f%^k.

I can't even pull up order status in my account. Their website is always offline and wonky. Even my lease balance changes every time I log in, it's almost comical.

Curious too.
Is it 15+12=27?

Then extra for memory, or no extra?

That's correct. There's been so much confusion around this pre-order. Part of it is miscommunication.

The way it was supposed to go with Jump on Demand and Amp'd JOD:

Amp'd Jump on Demand - Buy an iPhone 6 or 6+ on JOD while trade-in of any (working, non cracked) smartphone, before September 9th and lock in a payment of $15 (6) $19 (6+). Note that you would have to pay $99 or $199 to go up to higher tiers.

You would then be able to upgrade to a 6s or 6s+ of the same storage tier, without making any downpayment or having a change in monthly payment. Just order the new one using JOD and take the old one into a store within 14 days.

Jump on Demand - Buy an iPhone 6 or 6+ on JOD. $0, $99, $199 down. Upgrade device 3 times in a 12 month rolling period starting with first Jump. I'm assuming this doesn't include the first purchase. Here you can trade-in any smartphone(working/non-cracked). The value of the trade-in would be applied as a credit to your account, or if you have an EIP balance, to that. It's also possible to trade-in your current EIP phone and either pay the difference(when the credit isn't enough) or have the balance applied as account credit(when the credit is higher than EIP balance).

With respect to the issue of moving from a 16GB to a 64GB or 128GB model for free, that was apparently a misunderstanding. There was no such promotion. Because of miscommunication, a few people ended up with that deal. Good for them, but it wasn't really a promotion. They were lucky. The rest of us shouldn't expect the same. And in any case, those orders would be very delayed. They offered to do that for me, but if I'd wanted the 128GB, I'd have gotten it. There had already been enough hassle with my order anyway.

It's clear that T-Mobile has a lot of work to do on the operational front. Their pre-order and internal communications systems/processes need to be overhauled in a big way.

Edited to read ...moving from a 16GB to a 64GB or 128GB for free

IMPORTANT: Amp'd JOD had to be done by September 8th.

When I spoke with Cesar in ERT yesterday afternoon, he advised me the only customers that are getting a true free memory upgrade are people that did Amped Jump on Demand.

This means that when you began Jump On Demand, you traded in a smartphone.

In my case, I did not. So, because of the confusion, T-Force on Twitter gave me a $200 bill credit with the understanding that it offsets the $6/line monthly charge for the memory upgrade.

So technically it's free for me but not directly.
Strange question for you, and everyone else: how to you contact them on Twitter? With a message or a tweet?
