I really hope you're wrong. I had a rep from the Executive Team call me and say that there was an error with free upgrades (there was never an offer) but they were going to honor the free upgrade for anyone that ordered on 9/12 since there was so much confusion.

My iPhone 6s Plus (128GB) came to $42 a month and the rep ASSURED me I'd still be locked in at $19 per month. They put a note on my account that I would be credited each month (since it looks like they took the $200 and added it to my monthly payments). They gave me their exact number and extension and scheduled a follow up in a month.

Hopefully they're right!
sounds like the same thing with my situation. They did the EXACT same thing

Quick question...I might be dumb for not knowing this, but haven't been told otherwise. I came over from VZW a month or two ago, and had there EDGE program. I love JOD MUCH better, but with EDGE you had the sales tax on your first bill with the new device. Is that the same with JOD? or is sales tax built into the lease (monthly price) its gonna suck if its billed on the first bill of the device. For me that means, my current 6+ will have it on this bill that will cut soon, and then when 6s+ arrives the same damn thing..lol

I work for T-Mobile and can tell you for sure that you won't see a $23 credit. You only get $15 if you traded in a phone during the iPhone JOD Promo. They were waiving the downpayment for higher memory variants for a few days and allowing it to just be rolled into the monthly cost. Just a heads up. Check your first bill after having the phone.
So all the talks about free memory upgrade for some JoD customers on 9/12 and 9/13 were just smoke in the air right?

No one to my knowledge that works for t-mobile ever used the word "free memory upgrade", you just didn't have to pay the money upfront. That IS a first for T-Mobile though. We've ALWAYS had to pay 99 or 199 down for higher memory variants

Wrong, I had to pay the $199 downpayment, but they gave me a $200 bill credit. Apple doesn't allow them to discount the phone so t-mobile's way around that is bill credits.

Also, small business customers did have to pay the down payment and receive a credit back. So for small business customers, they really do seem to get a free memory upgrade

Yes, everyone does. If you haven't gotten your lease agreement(EIP) yet you better call t-mobile because you probably have something wrong with your order.

Agh.. I'm just being told by the T-Mobile help on Twitter that it's not necessary to have received an EiP for JoD !!! Wanna kick someone right now!

earlier this morning i checked my t-mobile account my order status was gone then by 6 pm it was back then i went to go pay my bill today and now looking at my account again it's gone... but i checked my order status it says its confirmed also when i seen it up earlier today it said it the iPhone 6s plus 128gb was in processing... so idk?

Same here although I was told they would call me back tomorrow. I'm hopeful that they will actually make do on their promise.

I got my call from the ERT! They are awesome, as the same thing happened last year, the ERT team is able to rectify most of it. I got my downpayment waived as I am actually on jump and adding a jump on demand to my line. He also made sure I will still be on priority wait list. I ordered the 128 gb rose gold 6s+

Look on your EIP. For me (i'm on JOD) I payed tax on my $199 down payment and then my EIP shows the rest of the tax divided out between the monthly payments.

Did he give you call back info? I really need to speak with them.

Question for guys who did JoD (not regular JUMP) : Did you have to sign a lease agreement or not ?

Yes, at this point if you ordered through phone and you didn't receive the email almost instantly. they either got your email wrong or something else is wrong with the order.

It's technically not an EIP (which is a device financing agreement) for JOD. It's a lease agreement. Legally TMo confers ownership of the device to you immediately with the EIP and the phone is collateral for the financing. With the lease, TMo owns the phone and you're renting up to the point that you buy it after making the 18 required payments.

I was assured earlier today that my phone order that I placed on the 10th at midnight has me as one of the first in line. I am a bit skeptical of that though because they had to cancel that order and reorder it yesterday.

Also how does one get this bill credit for upgrading to the 128gb model?

I actually had the Twitter reps say that my downpayment will be taken care of, when I emailed ERT I had the twitter screenshot so the ERT rep was real nice and say he will waived it for me even if I am not eligible as i am not a Amped customer.

Bit the bullet and ordered myself a 6S+ SG right after placing the order for my father's device despite me saying I won't buy another this year. Dang you Apple. I don't mind the extra wait since the system told me I'd be looking at a shipment in 2-3 weeks from now... or perhaps 2-3 weeks from release date. Who knows (not too pumped about this release anyway).

Figured even though there's not much I need on the new device, I wanted to see what devs do with 3D touch for the next year. That prospect was the only reason really... (ok, I kind of like the 12MP camera and A9 chip improvements but whatever).

Just a few months ago the T Mobile Galaxy s6/edge had a true free memory upgrade I know cause I got it.

When I spoke with Cesar in ERT yesterday afternoon, he advised me the only customers that are getting a true free memory upgrade are people that did Amped Jump on Demand.

This means that when you began Jump On Demand, you traded in a smartphone.

In my case, I did not. So, because of the confusion, T-Force on Twitter gave me a $200 bill credit with the understanding that it offsets the $6/line monthly charge for the memory upgrade.

So technically it's free for me but not directly.
