I work for T-Mobile and can tell you for sure that you won't see a $23 credit. You only get $15 if you traded in a phone during the iPhone JOD Promo. They were waiving the downpayment for higher memory variants for a few days and allowing it to just be rolled into the monthly cost. Just a heads up. Check your first bill after having the phone.

That was another thing that was confusing. When I called T-Mo, the rep said I would need to put a downpayment of $199 on the 128gig, then the saleswoman in the store said I might not have to but then when she typed more info in I had to. I was mentally prepared to do it and it comes off the total anyway but it was annoying that it was back and forth. I have excellent credit and been with T-Mo for a while so I was half expecting to not have to.

Just got done placing the other 2 of the 4 orders. Got some ridiculous S00629**** numbers. They said they will be put in with the other blah blah blah. Taking that with a grain of salt and not expecting much.

Side note, as per the conversation with the office of the president: the Rose Gold ones have to be in the warehouse before they can give me an estimate on delivery. The Gold and Space Grey 64GB have a shipping date for my order numbers of "on or before the 25th". Those were S00609**** orders.

A question for the people that have dealt with T-Mobile last year: did anyone get them delivered on the day of the release like you know, AT&T, Verizon, Apple does; or were they shipped on the day of release and delivered the following Monday with overnight shipping? Either would not surprise me.

Thanks in advance.

I think there is no way of knowing honestly. Last year I received my phone on launch dates even though on the website it said it would ship on launch date. Meanwhile my friend was in the same situation and his shipped on launch date and came one day later. This year hopefully I get lucky and receive it on the 25th, if not that ok too I guess.

I agree and that was a serious point of contention with me, almost to the point of abandoning the entire deal. T-Mobile needs to word their contracts properly. There's no reason not to do it properly other then the software development team being lazy. If I wasn't so enamored with getting the new iPhone, I would have told them to take a hike.

They aren't allowed to do that, because technically they're doing something that Apple doesn't want them to do. They aren't allowed to officially discount the iPhone, so they have to do this wink and a nod credit your bill.

Restocking fees of $75 as stated on the agreement that we all signed. I was told the way around it is to refuse the shipment.
Thank you for that! I might do that. I guess it might be about 11 more a month than I thought. Still is NOT a bad deal, if you think about it.

At the store, the rep told me just come in with my bill and they'd be sure to credit me. I trust T-Mobile a lot more than AT&T, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now.

I'm jealous... LOL Mine still says "We will send a shipping estimate soon" and I ordered the 6s Gold 64gb. :( I finished my phone order about 12:40am on Saturday morning. I was only the 2nd order the rep I spoke to had taken. Of course, my order was manually entered because their system was down when I called. I ultimately got an order number of S00613xxxx. My original ticket # was 00122xxx. Do you think I'm screwed as far as receiving my phone in the first batch being shipped out at launch?

No. I think T-Mobile is going to have the phones. I was told that is have my phone on Friday, and my order is s006234xxx. I think Apple again did not anticipate the iPhone 6s Plus group, and the iPhone 6s club will once again be fine to get our phones on launch day.

I would not worry. That shipping information came from a person; I do not have anything online that confirms to that. As far as all 4 orders that are appearing on my account they all state "We will send a shipping estimate soon".

Good luck, and don't worry ;)

Well they are estimates, and I believe they feel true, or hoping they are.

Idk a lot of the other carriers have most phones slipping into october dates, even apple now says 3-4weeks for most phones, just seams too good to be true

Yeah I am gonna call bluff on those estimates...

I really hope you're wrong. I had a rep from the Executive Team call me and say that there was an error with free upgrades (there was never an offer) but they were going to honor the free upgrade for anyone that ordered on 9/12 since there was so much confusion.

My iPhone 6s Plus (128GB) came to $42 a month and the rep ASSURED me I'd still be locked in at $19 per month. They put a note on my account that I would be credited each month (since it looks like they took the $200 and added it to my monthly payments). They gave me their exact number and extension and scheduled a follow up in a month.

Hopefully they're right!

I'm assuming the order numbers are in order, If so would a order number of 6241xxx be a potential launch date delivery?

Thanks for clarifying. I thought you were seeing that status on the website.

on the site for delivery, I randomly input AT&T, 6S, Space grey and it said that it will be delivered by 9/25. I think people wanting the regular 6S In silver, grey or champagne gold will be fine, even now. Rose gold and 6S+, on the other hand...

We'll just have to see. Though they have also waived all of my $199 down payments for my 128GB upgrades on my 6s and 6s Plus preorders, I spoke to a number of managers at the Solutions department and they have confirmed that my monthly lease payment will not increase from its locked-in $19/month for my iPhone 6s Plus, as an additional credit is being applied monthly.

The excerpt from that T-Mobile internal document reads as follows:
Customers who took advantage of the Amped JUMP! On Demand iPhone 6 and 6 Plus offer are eligible to upgrade to the latest iPhone through the end of the year (December 31, 2015) at the same great promotion price of $15/month ($19/month for iPhone 6s Plus). Customers who upgrade after December 31 are not eligible to retain the $15/month ($19/month for iPhone 6s Plus) offer. Customers do not have to make an additional second down payment. Customer who are not well-qualified on the original device purchased will be moved to a special credit class through December 31 to avoid a second out of pocket payment.

If the customer opted for a higher memory variant (64GB or 128GB) on their original order, T-Mobile will waive the second down payment when placing the new order for the same memory size. These customers will have an account memo and a QuikView Targeted Offers button advising that they are eligible for a credit on any applicable down payments: Customer took advantage of the JUMP on Demand $15 iPhone promo (DOC-104701) between June 28 and September 8 and made a down payment of $99 (64GB) or $199 (128GB) for higher memory variant. If the customer upgrades to a new iPhone between September 12 and December 31 with JUMP! On Demand, waive any applicable down payments. See DOC-108271. Customers have find FAQs about this offer online at FAQ: Upgrading Your Phone with JUMP! and JUMP! On Demand.

Availability
Offer is available to customers who took advantage of the Amped JUMP! On Demand iPhone 6 and 6 Plus offer. Offer is available in: Retail Care

Limitations
Customers can’t combine this offer with the Carrier Freedom Device Payment Plan reimbursement. They are still eligible to submit a Carrier Freedom ETF reimbursement. Offer not available in Puerto Rico.

Also, this excerpt from their official post on reddit explains the free memory upgrade:
Regarding the free memory variant upgrade
Ah yes, this has been causing a headache for us. Due to an ongoing system update, it isn’t making this possible for everyone.

It’s an additional monthly credit towards the EIP for the higher memory variants. If people have already placed orders without knowing this info, unfortunately there’s nothing we can do at this time for those customers.

Interesting. They told me it would be credited on the 27th. Anyone else get a credit immediately?
Yes, I received my $200 credit while still on the phone with executive response. My account now shows an -$200 balance.
Anyone have a direct phone number for Executive Response? I thought I had everything fixed, but now I have both orders showing up on my account. The wrong one that was supposed to be cancelled and the new correct order that t-force placed. I wish I would have asked for contact info just in case. The exec team member I talked to didn't say anything about keeping my place in line, but did say she would prioritize my order. Hope that's not just BS.

For saturday and sunday, I think most people who were "well qualified" didn't have to put money down for the 64 and 128gb. I know I personally didn't. It just added the 100 or 200 to the monthly cost. So if you have the Amped iPhone JOD promo, it should be 15 or 19 PLUS that down payment you didn't have to pay.

Last year I got my iPhone on launch day and I was pretty shocked because on my account page the order status still said back-ordered and I didn't receive a notice from UPS that I was getting a package until the day after I actually got my phone. They must have been in such a rush to get as many phones out as possible that they just didn't have time to send out updates. So really you never know.
