Silver Iphone 6S Plus 64GB
Ordered: Sept 12 at 7:00 am.
Signed EIP: Sept 12 at 9:16am.

Just received an email stating the shipping date by 9/24. New to T-Mobile and the process was very smooth. I guess I was a lucky one.

That's if you order today.

May be apple said to them "we are not sending any rose gold 6s+ to you"

Being a new color they never overproduce it estimating it to be a hit........moreover carriers never get info on the quantity till 22nd or 23rd sep.......still they updated it to November.....so i think they are not getting any rose gold.....one more thing is that TMobile has lower customer base compared to other two biggies(Att and Verizon). So they will be the 2nd most priority...apple customers begin the first

srry for being negative but i like to think this way so when i see any progress i may be surprised...i like that feeling

Do we have any idea how many people have already preordered?

The link in my text shows me as still processing but the explorer link shows me this:

ETA: Original order placed 9/12 12:20 a.m., CORRECT order placed 9/14 mid afternoon.

Like many others have reported in the last 4-6 hours, my 128 GB Space Gray 6s Plus went from "We'll provide a shipping estimate to you by 9/20" -to- "Estimated shipping date 9/24".

Yahoo! Things are still moving forward and looking good!

Seriously theyre ****ing stupid if they honestly didn't make a lot of rose golds ....its the NEW colour.. of course people will want to buy that one ... *sighs*

No update on my date yet. 64GB + Rose gold order here. Ordered within first 30 min too.

Doesn't T-Mobile, by default, show backordered if they don't have inventory of an item?

Not sure of the reason behind their backorder status. May be they received the phones from apple or the numbers but the orders may be more than what they received from apple

Mine has never shown a status of back ordered, so it is possible back ordered may actually mean back ordered this time.

dint you get the "ship by 9/24" status?

It may be true for the unisex colors like silver or space grey....but may not be the case with Gold or Rose Gold

That's how modern Just In Time manufacturing works. They made some, but wait to produce the new color in bulk once they see the number of orders. We only know that there have been more orders than production, not the number of orders compared to other colors. It could be that space grey sold 10x as many as rose gold, but there were 20x more space grey produced than rose gold (as a hypothetical example). Apple will catch up, as they did with gold last time. You almost never see gold iphone 5S and 6 phones, even tho they were the "hard to get" ones on release day.

Expects to ship by 9/24 is code for "too many people are calling us, we'll tell them all something until we know more". Yesterday they said we'd know more on 9/20 and it updated early which tells me we will see more updates this weekend/early next week with more accurate dates.

Yes, most of you will still get it shipped by 9/24 so don't panic too much. :D

Finally someone else with a rose gold plus! Nothing for me yet, still shows 9/20.

Yeah I was told multiple times when I ordered and when they "manually entered me" that oh hey yeah you'll get it for launch...no worries... I was well within the time. yeahok.jpg.

Same ******** happened last year to me with the gold 16gb plus.. cept there I got dates that kept getting pushed back randomly without explanation why my order wasn't being filled but other 16gb gold plus orders were.

I think thats how Supply/Demand works? no?
Announce a new color, everyones gonna want it.
only make a few for initial release. creates demand for it? My explanation may be off but still.

My order status at explore.tmobile.com says the expect to ship by 9/24 for my 6s+ gold 64gb. No email from T-Mobile, and the my-T-mobile order status still says "Being Processed." Was also curious about the robolady to see if she had a different status, but she said being processed too.
