T-Mobile: iPhone 6S/6S Plus Pre-Order Thread:

maybe this is T-mobile's way of making up for the horrible preorder situation.
Searched using reference number (I.e. Phone number) on ups and found the tracking number. It also shows up on ups my choice but ups hasn't sent a note yet.
i asked a chat rep right before launch what sort of priority jod people would get and she said none and that everyone would get theirs at the same time. wish i hadn't listened to her now and just paid off my eip and signed up for jod.
anyways hopefully my regular order gets a tracking number soon because i need to re-route it to my hotel since i'll be on vacation. there shouldn't be a delay from changing the address right since it will still be overnight shipping? anyone have experience with ups my choice changing addresses?

The experience is that it isn't free and it adds AT LEAST a day to the transit. Not a good plan.
edit: wasn't very helpful not offering a solution. I would have it held at the local UPS sort center (you'll have the option once the tracking is live) then it will be waiting for you when you get back. Trying to set up a new phone over hotel wifi sucks anyway.
I got a similar alert last year with UPS My Choice. They're gonna hold it at the facilities and actually ship it out on 9/24. I ended up getting my 6 on launch day. But, who knows! Mistakes have been made.
Same here last year. That's why I'm not expecting it on Monday. Just glad they have it for Friday.
isn't it just like 5 dollars or some other nominal fee to change the address? i don't mind a reasonable cost.
i wouldn't be surprised with a delay but if a shipping number is ready to go and it's just being held somewhere until the 24th, i don't see why i couldn't change the address say on the 22nd or something (assuming i get it soon) and then it be shipped to the new address on the 24th with the overnight shipping to get it on the 25th..that's what i'm hoping will happen anyways.
i actually don't care about the phone part. i just wanted the camera while i'm on vacation :/

I just got a text from T-MO saying the same thing the explore status site (best one) saying they expect to ship it by 9/24

Got a call from ERT (yes, again!) and they offered me the 128 GB 6S Plus Gold [ originally pre-ordered the 64GB S-Plus Gold ] with $0 down and $24 per month, plus a $250 bill credit for the troubles.
Got the EiP while on the phone, signed, submitted...got the text with confirmation.. order status ' expected to ship by Sept 24th ' within minutes.

My ordering process was a nightmare. I tried to upgrade via the website, but the only thing showing online were tablets. I called on the 14th and placed my upgrade order over the phone. Waited 24 hours and no contract via email. Called again on the 16th and they realized my email was spelled incorrectly. Looks like my order was not processed until that day.
When I checked this morning, the site showed a backorder status. Not 5 minutes later, it shows Processing. I just used the Tmobile Explore site to check for the status and its showing it will ship on the 24th.

still no charge still says expected to ship 9/24 I'm thinking the rest of us won't see charges till monday/night.
T-Mobile just texted me my UPS tracking number, shipped via "UPS Next Day Air Saver" as expected. No actual shipping information yet; just a label was created. T-Mobile's order status page doesn't say anything new (just that it's expected to ship by the 24th).
Me too! I'm trying not to truly expect it until Friday though. Just glad it is on the way!
Edited: I updated the spreadsheet but left the 'cluster' column to 'processing' since it was UPS that sent me the tracking info, not t-mobile. Or should I changed it to 'shipped'?? I just checked the tmo explore status page and it still says expected to ship by 9/24.

I bet they're on the way right now. That's why tmobile changed the order status. I'm guessing
anyone whose status says shipped but still hasnt recieved a tracking number, you may or may not already know this but you can get your tracking number by going to the ups website and tracking by reference (your phone #).
