Tangerine Macbook project thread

Looks good, except it would look better if u got a replacement key so u can have an all orange keybord
 
how do you guys think this would work with a white macbook and black dye?

i have a ibook that is torn apart, i could try that on..
 
Awesome job. I wouldn't change anything if I were you. I'd pay a decent amount of money for someone to do that to my MacBook. The only problem would be insurance...

so i just went through the entire thread, i was excited through the entire process lol. anyway, great job on the macbook, love the halloween theme. i also think the keys should all be orange -_-.


DO A RED AND BLACK ONE AND GIVE ME!
 
Dark Blue with a Black Topcase and Bezel would look great! If I did this again, those would be the colors I would go with.

(ignore the crappy colorswap built into my camera, but there you all go 😛)

The only thing this laptop really needs is a new Apple Logo to put in the back. Its been a hole for the past year, but a new piece of clear plastic (iBook g4's used the same one) would fix that...
 
The finished product looks great, though i would never do that to my macbook (would it even work on a black one?)
 
That blue and black looks slick together. I think i like that better than the orange because it is more mellow. However, it probably wouldn't be as vibrant from the dye.
 
Yep Blue looks very good. Too bad you can't make a macbook look like this TronBook. I loved this mod and one of the reasons that led me to dying my old iBook orange 😀.

Wow, you are very ambitious and have a lot of guts. Looks great, nice job!

But I'll just take the lazy way out and take a stock white one, haha.

But i changed the colour of my logo to green 😀
