started disassembling my MacBook last night, and got it down to the plastic case. Im going to go out in a minute and buy some Orange and Yellow dye.

Don't you mean paint? How's dye going to work on plastic?

No, I really mean dye. Paint can chip and discolor with heat (this thing will reach 180* constantly). Stain will, well, stain the plastic any color I want. It wont have any problems associated with paint either.

So, here is my idea with the topcase.

I cant color the palmrest area because it is attached to the keyboard and track-pad with this backing stuff -

This is the same plastic and text material as on they keyboard, the silver shows up fine.

All I need to do is boil all the keys together, and reeattach them! Atleast every single piece is labeled in this case!

Ill get started on it in a few hours, I have another web-design project I have to do on this G4 Cube because my MacBook is down.

The keyboard alone is a 10 minute mod anyone can do.


Don't mind the F6 key, ill get it in soon.
