Target pre order?

Target failed me. I was the first in line on preorder day (9/12) and was told I would receive an email on launch letting me know availability.
I still have not received an email. I called and they have no idea when they are receiving a shipment.
Garbage company. I emailed them as well.
Regardless, I'll still go here since it's a much more tolerable store than walmart.

For those still waiting for an e-mail - try reserving a phone via the Apple website. Apple gets shipments of phones daily, if you're lucky, you might be able to get the phone you want.
I ended up scoring a white 6 Plus. Checked the website at 1:30AM on Saturday morning, they had them in stock! Ordered immediately. Picked up the phone at noon. Still no email from Target and I was second on the list.

I was able to walk in and walk out with a 16gb space grey plus for my brother (I preordered white and silver) at target today. It may be worth a trip!! It was Verizon btw..
That's the spirit! They screwed ya, didn't even buy you dinner, and didn't bother to write either...

LOL @ people being mad but not having the intestinal fortitude to change their habits anyway... What do you think Target is going to do next year? That's right, screw a bunch of new people (maybe even you, again) and still retain them as customers anyway.

I went to Target during my lunch break today. I walked up on the mobile guy showing off his new iPhone 6 to one of the other Target employees. I asked him if they got any iPhones in yet. He asked me which carrier, I said Verizon. He said they only got one phone in so far, it was a 6 (probably his). He said I'll get an email when it comes in, and he'll call me himself.
Getting up early to go stand in line at the Verizon store last Friday morning was a wise decision.

The same guy who guaranteed me Friday, and then guaranteed me Saturday...just guaranteed me Wednesday delivery. I'll just keep checking apples inventory until my target phone come in February 2015.
Ouch. But in all fairness, it's not like you go to Target just to pre-order the latest gadget- probably happens once in a blue moon. OP probably likes the savings he/she gets from shopping at target for other things.
Just got my email! Too bad I already waited in line for a 6 Plus. Email came from Targetmobile@target.com. BTW i'm in Michigan.

Just got off the phone with him. Still no news on phones. He said anybody can cancel and return gift cards. As far as the discount, that's just his personal offer to me that he has authorized. Not an offer from target corporate. I'd ask your local district manager about a similar deal.
Just got another call. I ordered a 6 64gb and a plus 64gb. They got in a 6 and a plus but in 16gb. He'll hold until end of day while I decide. Can I make it work if I use iCloud drive?

Yikes that's tough. You can make it work using iCloud drive for sure. I've had a 16gb 5s and it's been kinda annoying having to manage storage but you can deal. I use Rdio so I hardly have any music on my phone. My thing is I'm spending a lot of money on something I really want and have been waiting for for a long time and I don't want to compromise. So if it were me I'd keep waiting. I can wait a few more weeks (hopefully less!) when it means having what I want for all the other months. But. That's just my thinking and there's definitely a counter argument that says who knows how long it really will be and they have it now and you can have it in your hands tonight!
It's OK, Walmart is having the same issues... For some reason some stores did NOT get SILVER iPhone 6's even though there were pre-orders for them. But then again some how Walmart was able to get plenty of Gold and Grey iPhone 6's but not a single Silver one.. I am waiting for the Walmart email too, sucks!

I called around to 4-5 of the targets in my area just to check on their inventories in case the websites were wrong.
2 or 3 of the people I talked to in electronics didn't even give me an answer besides, "Oh that guy doesn't get here until noon". To which I then replied, "So you're telling me you can't look up inventory?" They finally checked and I was told they still hadn't gotten them in.
1 of the stores actually had lots of 16GB 6's and 6+'s (I think he said 22 total), but nothing over 16GB.
The other couple stores I called said they had gotten a few in, nothing over 16GB but they went toward preorders.
