Way to go Chicago, great effort. I'll be doing the same tonight. This process had been very frustrating, especially with the flat out deception of those employees at target. Hopefully my emails will fall into the right hands as well. Again, good job.

Thanks! I will say I am impressed that whichever executive chose to forward my email on and lit a fire. And certainly the district manager's personal call and texts was a great response by Target. But, again, I wasn't so much trying to complain enough until I get my phone, I just wanted to be heard, to get some time frame of when to expect it instead of the shrugs I was being met with and to stir things up enough in corporate so that this doesn't happen again.

I'm the one that posted the email address. I have also been contacted by a district manager. He says he's doing everything he can to get me my phones by the end of the weekend. We'll see!

Thank you for posting that, Trojan fan. Thanks so much. Greatly appreciated. Keep us updated!

So disappointed in Target at this point. I stopped in today and was told that they didn't get any pre-order units in at all—with no idea when to expect them—and to "just wait for the email notification." Regret canceling my original ATT pre-order now.

What was the point of purchasing a $25 gift card anyway? That's $25 that goes right to Target as it can't be used anywhere else. The term "pre-order" suggests that you can order something before everyone else. There's an understanding there that you're buying the privilege of getting something early. In my case, i'm just out $25 and went ahead and ordered on ATT.com for an October 29th delivery date. At least I know I will get the phone then. With the Target pre-order I don't know if I'll ever get it now.

Contract states that customers will be notified by email "when we'll have an estimated delivery date." That doesn't mean they'll email when your unit arrives, that means that they are supposed to email when they have an estimate when it will arrive. At this point I've heard absolutely nothing in regards to delivery.

Called about 10 stores near me today, one had one Sprint iPhone 6 Plus 16gb in space gray (exactly what I was looking for). Family 10% employee discount + 5% Red Card + 2-year contract was ~$281.

FYI, if you buy AppleCare+ at Target, you get the discount as well, I didn't bite on that yet though.

So now I have these two, unopened.

Consider yoyrself lucky. No plus's at any Targets here either. I emailed corporate as well. We will see if anythjng comes of it but I won't hold my breath.

Target needs to find a better buyer for their mobile phones then, and that does ultimately become Target's responsibility. I work for Target as well, and this has been three straight years of iPhone issues on day one. I understand that the Targets/Best Buys/Radioshacks of the country sit in 3rd place on the allocation pecking order, but the Best Buy down the road had nearly 15-20 phones still in stock by the afternoon, whereas our Target had gotten nothing.

My situation was exactly the opposite of yours. Target Mobile (in multiple suburban Philadelphia stores) had multiple iPhone's and yet Best Buy had next to none.

I just sent out an email as well, hopefully something comes of it.

I knew Target wouldn't pull through. Reserved a Silver iPhone 6 Plus at Apple at about 1 AM yesterday. Got a conformation email a couple hours later saying it was ready. Walked out with new phone, no issues. No email from Target yet. I will not pre-order with Target again.

I'm enjoying reading This thread, on my new iPhone 6+ that I got from the MOA Apple Store and not from Target. I really wish some lawyer was one of those stiffed by Target so a class action lawsuit could be raised. My wife just checked her email on her new iPhone 6+ for a notice from Target mobile--no news. No surprise. So I decided we are going to spend our two $25 gift cards at target buying toilet paper so that when we use it we can be reminded of target.

Reserve that at Apple. For real. They sent me an e-mail at 6:00AM 5 hours after I reserved my phone saying it was ready. They are easy, quick, and will make sure you walk out with a phone. They even have carrier representatives in the store. I was having issues with my account. I was in the store for 4 hours. They did not allow me to leave until I walked out with my 6 Plus, they resolved my issue, I walked out with my phone. I was happy in the end. I can guarantee you no retailer would do this.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TARGET. This company will not only need re-think its pre order system, but FIRE some people for not doing their job. Accountability is important yet no one in the WHOLE company is taking any. "I'm sorry or we should of done better" doesn't cut it by now. Ill be returning this gift card tomo morning. I was planning on buying a case since i have the card, but they DON'T have them. Another reason why i will NEVER NEVER "pre order" from this company. CALL IT RESERVATIONS TARGET! Seems all i reserved was a gift card.

On a higher note: Apple update website around 2 AM with iphone inventory for store pickup. :apple: Proud owner of Iphone 6 Plus Gold 64g:apple:

TARGET MOBILE RATINGS:

Customer Service- 2/10
Customer Communication- 0/10
Company Ownership- No scale for something non-existent.

None out here. Emailed CEO and he said they are working to get more stock and would have someone be in touch.

Same here.

Oh you guys actually got a response from the CEO? Nice. I haven't heard anything back from the district manager. I'm not crossing my fingers but I want to at least be updated. So if I don't hear anything by midweek at the latest I'm calling him. He may regret ever giving me his cell number!

i know those a holes at target, were full of crap when i asked when i would get the pre order! I was told i would get a projected ship date once the order was placed, so i placed the order for them to say "oh your ship date will be emailed to you" i then proceeded to say "hahaha well thats funny cause I'm not paying $25 for a pre order that will be sent to me email and you said i would no immediately." then walked out. Sp they cancelled my pre order

Just got another call from the district manager. He said all mobile departments are having a conference call tomorrow to try to get answers. Ok:rolleyes: He did offer to let me return the gift cards. He also said I can wait on the phones and he would offer me 25% off plus a $100 gift card. He said that offer won't expire so if I want to keep looking elsewhere that's fine.

I had no faith but my Target actually got 22 iPhones in this morning and I now have my Plus. I'm not sure what to believe anymore.

Any chance you can get that in writing so we can bring it to our local Targets? :)

Sorry for interrupting this Target thread but listen to this gentleman. If you have an Apple Store nearby then use the Apple Store app and keep checking it until they have it available for In Store pickup. Guarantees you a phone with the least amount of hassle.

And I mean the app specifically. Not even Apple.com is reliable from what I've experienced. The app seems more up to date inventory wise than anything else.

Can you ask him if this offer extends to the others that have complained and been contacted? Would you mind?
