The 16GB iPhone is NOT a ripoff

I think you mean 720p, and users can easily see the difference between 720 and 1080p on a 4.7" phone when looking up close, so there is still room for improvement. Now 1440p/4K I agree is not necessary like most Android phones.

If you are comparing specs like you seem to be in your car comparison, Android phones clearly are better in every single category compared to iPhones. However, we all know that isn't the truth in real world performance. Storage however isn't something that differs between OS's. 16GB is 16GB, and regardless of Android vs iOS you can still only fit a certain amount of 4k video of 12mp photos.

Apple is the king of marketing.

If you are looking closing. LOLOLOL. How many of the mainstream consumers care about 720 vs 1080 on a 4.7 inch screen? Hardly anyone. A 1080 screen will drain the battery more for almost zero benefit.

Samsung spent BILLIONS more in marketing than Apple the last 3 years. You can market all you want but if you sell a crap product the consumer will eventually find out the truth. Apple is the King because they sell the best phone. PERIOD.

And why are you bring up 16GB? If 16GB does not fit your lifestyle get the 64GB! Like I said this is like a man bitching that he can't fit the cheap Children's Jeans that cost $20 instead of the Men's jeans that cost $30. If it does not fit, stop bitching and get the larger size.

I'll admit I'm a heavy user and I should have never bought the 16gb. I am constantly offloading my pictures and videos, I couldn't imagine having the new camera and only 16gb.

For such a "premium phone", why cheap out on the storage?

Actually your main point there was that you have no argument. You might not realize it, or might want to overlook it, but that's what the point was. If you actually had a point about the argument itself you would have made one instead of saying something about the person you are arguing with. Apple made changes to iOS9. It requires less space than iOS8 to update.

Some people don't need 16GB. Deal with it. I only use 10GB on my 6+

$1 a month x 12 months = $12 a year for 50GB
50Gb cloud storage + 16GB phone storage = 66GB total storage for $12 bucks a year

What are you talking about? Marketing is how Apple have built up the brand they have today.

Apple knows how to squeeze every penny out of their consumers before crossing the line. Yes, I agree they are good at that. However that is the complete opposite about making a phone in the best interest of the consumer.

The 16GB variant isn't a rip-off for users who understand the implications of limited storage, but I'd imagine that there are hundreds of thousands of less 'discerning' buyers who bought a 16GB iPhone 6/6+ and, having rapidly run out of space, are less trusting of Apple than they were. Bit of a long term own goal by the company, I reckon.
