^Freddy got fingered?![]()
Very funny. I still can't believe they made that movie.
I think a great cheer for him for when he goes on the ice would be for everyone to just flip the bird. In silence.
Check out the headline from sportsnet.ca:
Leafs give Finger huge raise
That's awesome.
The Caps just signed Theodore. The Avs have a deal with Andrew Raycroft, but I really hope they're looking at signing someone else too. We'll see....
oh, and as a Habs fan, i'm really, really bummed out the Mark Streit moved to Boston. That hurts. I
thought he was a great fit for Mtl. bummer.
Ahem...
He signed a 5 year/$20.5 million contract with the Islanders, not the B's.
Michael Ryder, however, signed a 3 year/$12 million contract with the B's.
sorry D. tsn.ca had it reported wrong. i'm still bummed!!!!
he was huge for the habs on the blueline and playing up front too. character player.![]()
Ryder or Streit?
What can the Isles expect out of Streit? We honestly need some solid D in front of Ricky. On the PP he's not like Marc-Andre Beregeron (aka the Mad Bomber) is he?
streit. he's a solid dman, plays big for his size and is a great puck mover.
ryder has potential, but i wonder if he'll get back to his scoring ways.
hossa just signed with det. wow.
Well, that's some good news for the Isles. Like I said we are in desperate need of defence and also scoring.
Ryder does have a lot of potential. I like the kid. If I'm not mistaken he grew up on Long Island.
Wow. Just wow. I am really surprised the Pens couldn't sign him. The Pens have lost a couple of really good players. Makes me wonder if they can get back to the Stanley Cup Finals next season.

Ryder is from The Rock (Newfoundland) I believe.

You are right. I know 2 players on the Habs are from LI. Can't remember who right now.
That last line is friggin' awesome.

i'm trying to hold hope with Gainey...first, he signs George Laracques....then trades Grabovski to the Leafs. He's got lots of upside so i don't know what he's thinking...Gotta love Burkie! I can't wait until he's the Leafs GM next year......
Wow, some big deals with my Pens.
Fleury signed 7 year deal
Orpik signed 6 year deal
Malkin signed 5 year deal
Satan signed 1 year deal![]()
Fedotenko signed 1 year deal![]()
"I have a better chance winning the cup in Detroit than in Pittsburgh" - HossaI guess he wants to be a permanent rent-a-player, we offered him 7.3 million for 5, 6, and 7 years! he goes with the 7.4 million for 1 year....what a joke. This after all the press conferences saying that he "LOVES it here, and is staying long term" blah
I wish Satan and Feds signed for longer though
Next up to do:
Staal contract extension
Coach T contract extension
both are expected to be done within a week, or so the paper says....even losing Malone, Roberts, Hall, Ruutu, Laraque, and Conklin, I feel pretty good of where we look
