Back when you were young, you didn't have threee Yorkshiremen to talk to. You had to talk to yourself all day...IF you were lucky! ;)
Talk? Talk?! I was too busy grafting at t'mill to talk! Etc, etc.

Anyway, in other news it appears Manchester City have made an approach to Arsenal for Gael Clichy. If he's set on a move, I reckon Arsenal could do worse than try and get Shay Given as part of the deal...

Speaking as an archaeologist specializing in the industrial revolution, I find Yorkshire stereotypes fascinating. :)

That would be a good deal for Arsenal. They badly need a quality keeper. Though starting Mad Jens next season would be simply amazing from an entertainment standpoint.

That's odd. It works for me.

It's probably on my end then, my workstation is pretty buttoned up by the powers that be...

The respective statures of the teams can be seen in their grounds – NSÍ Runavík's stadium has a capacity of 2,000. By comparison, our local non-League side we go to see a couple of times a year has a capacity of 3,000.

That said, Runavík Stadium isn't approved by UEFA for the Europa League so they play their home ties at the much larger Tórsvøllur – which only holds 6,000.

On the subject of stadia, you could quite comfortably fit the entire population of the Faroes in Newcastle United's St James' Park.

Here's the new England away shirt then, as mentioned yesterday – from what I've seen it looks quite nice, although the thing that immediately stands out is the colour...

...namely that it isn't red, our traditional second-choice hue – the first non-red away shirt since the grey one worn at Euro 96, unless I'm mistaken.

You are correct, first non-red away shirt since euro 1996. Here is the keeper's jersey that goes with it:

Hmm, thinking about it, I see a plan.

In the impending 2012 penalty shoutout, it's certainly going to put off anyone having to look at that from 12 yards!

[Deluded En-ger-lund supporter mentality]It's just a shame that our 'keeper will be immortalised wearing that shirt when we win Euro 2012.[/Deluded En-ger-lund supporter mentality]

Given your current FIFA ranking, a semifinal appearance is pretty much a given, eh? ;) Probably against your karmic nemesis, zee Germans.

I think it's a sign that I'm getting older when I can't recall where I've put something I was using 10 minutes ago but can remember both of those FA Cup final last minute dramas.

Now why did I come upstairs?

Hahahaha. Awesome excuse.

Thought that gave you superpowers.:)

The England keeper's shirt looks like it was inspired by tile spacers.

Cheers,
