Meanwhile, the news folk are reporting that QPR have sacked Colin.
Speculation is that they have Mark Hughes already lined up to take over.
Bit of a surprise. I thought Colin and QPR would be quite well suited and despite the bad run, they're still just outside the relegation zone.Meanwhile, the news folk are reporting that QPR have sacked Colin.

You're not missing anything (we''l except getting mugged maybeCrawley was the team I was hoping for in the draw, albeit away but I'm not complaining. No ground tick but another team to add to my 'Seen Them!' list.![]()
With 12 minutes remaining, Henry scores his 12th goal against Leeds in 12 appearances wearing the number 12 shirt in 2012
Terrence upset Paul McShane and as such I wish him nothing but comedy misfortune.Glad for young Terry Henry, he is a classy player - is he still playing football in the US or has he gone for basketball?![]()
Indeed they did. And credit goes to Nicky Weaver, for saving the penalty!
Hope Julian Bennett is ok. he had to be stretchered off, which lead to a whopping 11 minutes of injury time!![]()
Columbus Crew midfielder Kevin Burns rejected a contract extension during the offseason and is now on trial at Danish second division side FC Hjørring.
Burns has not repsonded to claims that he is "Hjørring himself out".
Watched the 2 minutes of 'highlights'according to twitter - a lump on his face and 7 stitches ...
It's official: Columbus midfielder Robbie Rogers has signed for Leeds - pending a work permit, and that is still not guaranteed. So I guess he has almost signed for Leeds...who apparently didn't check how to spell Columbus properly when they wrote their presse release.
I hate to say this but I don't think Robbie, for all his potential, is going to make it. But here's hoping he proves me wrong. I don't see him as a Premier League level player, but perhaps he'll find his feet in the Championship. I'll cheer for him...even in a Leeds shirt (which is not the same as cheering on Leeds, just to be clear).
Meanwhile, elsewhere in England...Despite Man City's "injury crisis", they have a pretty powerful squad dressed for action today. I expect little from Liverpool, particularly if City favor a more counterattacking strategy. We don't let in many but we score hardly any.
EDIT: It's a win and I'll take that any day. Neither a good match nor a good performance. A 6-3-1...we played a 6-3-1 formation! Technically, with Carroll up front, it's a 6-3-0, so we beat them despite being a man down, playing with no strikers and six at the back. That's a LOL.
