I agree. But, as I've said before, this has to be one of the most predictable CLs in years. Only two teams have a real chance to win it.

Well EBJT was effectively managing alongside Di Matteo by telling him to tell Essien to sit in midfield (right down to same hand gestures) so who knows...maybe he's in training.
True, but this is a team that couldn't beat West Brom, at least under AVB, and they looked more than up for it last night. You certainly have to wonder about the rumours of AVB not having the dressing room being true...We shouldn't forget though that only played Napoli. Strong team but not all that. They better hope for Apoel or Marseille next round.
If they face Bayern, Real or Barca its all over. Spine-Trio or not.

What shocked me most about last night's match was when Ashley Cole got a (debatable) yellow card...and didn't even argue about it! What's going on!?
to be honest i thought they wouldn't get past any other team at all, and now they are in the quarter final in their very first euro league stint
I'd like to clarify something - I am a Yorkshireman and I am quite broad and if I say something it can be taken out of a little bit of context. I was asked about the heritage of the game, I would never want to offend FIFA or UEFA. I used a word which was, looking back, probably inappropriate but it is the way I am.

EDIT: ... A rather clean match for a Merseyside derby as well. No goals from our strikers yet again, though Suarez was influential.

I feel I must point out that he's from South Yorkshire – we behave with far more decorum here in the East Riding, they're very uncouth around Sheffield way. Fizzy and pachyderm will back me up on this.Apparently Dave Richards' defense of yesterday's outburst involves labelling himself 'inappropriate' and insulting everyone in Yorkshire. The man is on a roll.
I've no idea what you're talking about, but this might help!I feel I must point out that he's from South Yorkshire – we behave with far more decorum here in the East Riding, they're very uncouth around Sheffield way. Fizzy and pachyderm will back me up on this.![]()
I wouldn't be surprised if Huntelaar strike up some interest from the big english clubs again. He really is in top form this season. Hopefully he doesn't keep that up during the summer![]()
