so what would chara hit if he started steroids??

115?

130?

How do we know he's clean right now? ;) kidding.....

This game has been so-so. Scott Hartnell is donating $1000 to charity every time he falls on the ice. Watching Giroux- his own teammate (on the Flyers and during this game)- trying to trip up Hartnell so he has to donate more $$$$ is friggin' funny.

Yeah, that was pretty hilarious. Team Chara won as expected, but Team Alfredsson put up a good fight until the 3rd. Huge by Thomas denying him the hat trick late in the game. The Datsyuk, Gaborik, Hossa line was just dirty.

I have a feeling that Tim Thomas won't be very popular in Ottawa for a little while (not that he was before he screwed Alfredson out of a hat trick).

but yah the game was a bit of a bore though most ASG are...

The real hockey fans in Ottawa probably respect Thomas. He became the first goalie to ever with 4 ASGs in a row.

The die hard Senators probably already hate him. He's 21-8-2 against them with a .938 SV% and 1.95 GAA in his career.

Watching Seguin center Kessel was pretty funny. Quite a few good goals too

What an accomplishment!;) It's only because he played the 3rd period of each game and happened to be on the right team each time.

"In these types of games really the only chance you have to have your name on the record as the winning goalie is if you play in the third period," Thomas said. "You can get a shutout in the first period and still not end up with the win, probably won't end up with the win. That's why I wanted to play the third period."

Um.....so.....two selfish acts in one week?;):p

Anyway, I heard on the radio today that they fired that mascot in TB that used the silly string. And it was a woman. I think it's ridiculous that she was fired. That's a bit of an extreme reaction IMO.

I bet that big bad Bruins fan feels all tough now that he knows it was a woman he shoved.

Leafs are up 4-3 with a couple of minutes left in the game against the Pens. Hopefully they can hold on for the win!

Good. As a matter of interest, did she ever target woman in the crowd wearing the conflicting jersey?

Have you seen the size of some women these days?

That mascot suit was not all padding.

What a night of comebacks. The Pens and the Preds. Preds scored 4 in the last half of the 3rd to pull off the best comeback I've seen in a while.

Will will always disagree on this one.

You call fun.

I call assault to cause ridicule.

Are you sure you're not a citizen of these Litigious States of America?

As long as nothing is destroyed and there are no injuries, yes, I call fun. Geez, it's a good thing she didn't have a t-shirt cannon!

Go buy some silly string, spray yourself (please take pics), and then tell me that it's still assault.

I wasn't really looking, but I didn't see the mascot at the game last night. Plenty of dancing girls and t-shirt cannons though. :D

It happens in other places too...

I know it's the all star game, and it doesn't mean anything, and all that. But.. no other goalie has ever won more than 2 ASGs in a row.

Other stat from the ASG that doesn't really mean anything but is kind of interesting.

Chara was a +7 during the ASG. Team Chara scored 7 goals and gave up ZERO when he was on the ice. When he was off the ice, Alfie's team scored 9 to Chara's 5.

Well, as an employee of the team, she shouldn't be assaulting opposing fans.

I agree, no one should be assaulting anyone, so it's a good thing she didn't assault anyone.

If it really was assault, losing her job would be the least of her worries.

If you consider that assault, then I guess you should consider Chara's hit on Pachioretty last season attempted murder.

This.

And I guess that also makes them whiny Bruins fans. what a bunch of ****ing whiners. just like their hockey team. they would be perfect for the NBA.

Now, I fully expect a profanity laden reply from him explaining why it's OK when a Bruin does it

Missed this somehow:

YouTube: video

OMG assault!

Now that's what a good sport looks like. Take note, some of you.;)

Maybe those mascots should just fight it out:
It's from the AHL ASG.

She sprayed him in the face. The fact that he didn't even get thrown out (ushers took him to the concourse, talked to him, and let him go back to his seat) and she got fired says enough imo.

So what if she sprayed him in the face? Get over it and quite your whining. It's gone beyond silly with you. You obviously didn't watch the other video (that person was also was sprayed in the face), which shows how a real hockey fan handles himself.

Oh, and do us all a favor and don't go to hockey games. You'll ruin the fun for everyone else.

Would be a fair guess that many of them are Pats or Celtics fans who have hopped on the bandwagon in the past couple years. I mean the Bruins always had a solid fan base being a team with great history, but that tubbo looked like the sort of douche who only supports a winner - as seen from his Cup shirt.
