Nothing short of "I porked your mother in her eye" would be acceptable for Rupp to swipe at a goalie.

Game was pretty rough. The way this is looking - one team sucking one game, then awesome the next - has us looking forward to a very likely Game 7 yet again. Oh dear.

It was so obvious on video that Mary said something, Marty said he didn't say anything but c'mon it was obvious.

Another game 7.... my nails can't handle it, there is nothing left to nibble at :p

It doesn't matter what Marty said, you don't hit a goalie like that. That was pure BS, and Marty is a legend.

Either way- Go Devils! Damn good game.

I'd like to se the Devils and LA in the final.

I don't think it has so much to do with being a goalie or not. If he did run his mouth at Rupp and Rupp retaliated, that's what you get. If you are Rupp you cannot be so dumb to take a penalty there... though maybe he didn't get one for the push since he was going for the crosscheck.

The best part of that whole sequence, I think, was when Bernier came flying in and Rupp just destroyed him. I'm guessing he won't give that a go again.

And damn Pierre for hitting the mute button.

Anyway - getting entertaining.

I'm not really sure he did, to be honest as a hockey fan with no interest in either team. His back was to the entire play behind the net. I'm sure Marty chirps and quite a lot - many goalies do - but still not sure in that situation.

Oh I did love Marty in the 90s actually. Now I just appreciate his longevity and nothing else. I even bought a pair of these pads at the Squirt/Pee Wee level -

I was able to read DeBoer's lips at one point. He said to Torts: "You're a ****ing joke." I kind of agree with him on that......

It was actually a regular presser. Almost 5 minutes. He was polite and didn't act like a dick. This tweet sums it up for me:

Insane ending. So much hate in that handshake line. Incredible. Can't believe it just went from that hit to that goal that quickly. I was about to give up and go to bed if it went past the first OT.

You can -- last year my B's tickets cost me $360/each (face) and they were selling around $800/each or so for the first couple of games. They are pretty low to the ice so higher was probably cheaper.

But, with all of that Hollywood money and the bandwagoners, it might be more out there.

How about them Devils? I'd still bet my non-existent house on Rangers forcing a game 7 since that's all they do, but impressive win in NY. I only caught the last period and a half or so though.

I was very proud of NJ tonight. They did really well. As a goalie, I always hate seeing any goalie scored on. But Lundqvist was just plain bad tonight. It happens, but I was surprised to see such a great guy give up that many goals on only 16 shots. That's not a lot of shots by any standard at any level. It's just plain bad. Brodeur took far more shots. NY played well, but Lundqvist melted down. I was surprised by the shot count. By all means, NY should have won.

Lundqvist has to be embarrassed and feeling terrible right now. I feel for the guy. God knows I've had nights like that.
 
That goalie display wasn't very Henrik-like :(

I was hoping Rangers would get it to another overtime, but the luck wasn't there.

One more loss and the razor comes out :(

that goal was complete BS... the ref should have blown it dead. there is no way he had sight of the puck. The officiating was awful that non-high stick... and for the other way the prust slash.... terrible. I'm done watching hockey for the year.

Surely, if you do go to any of the games you should buy this sign.
