I meant to post this earlier, but the result of Columbus midfielder Kirk Urso's autopsy has revealed that he succumbed to an undiagnosed, preexisting heart condition.

This is becoming increasingly common these days - the Antonio Puerta and Fabrice Muamba cases come to mind - and it's a tragic loss. I can only hope that additional screening is put in place for young athletes and that we can catch more of these heart anomalies before they take their toll.

Yep, a good result considering we went behind 3 times.

As for the FF, I tried checking the scores yesterday and the website was broken

ooooooooh wheeeeeeeeeen theeeeeeeee Spuuuuuuuuuuuurs......

:D

Great display at the weekend from my boys. I know it won't stop the AVB witch hunt but I'm on board the AVB train all the way!

City got away with one there. Dortmund should learn to bury their chances.

Fire 1- 3 Philidelphia

Very poor showing tonight by the fire, if this continues they will play themselves out of a play off spot. Very upsetting.

1:1

Best game i've seen so far this season. Ballotelli likes the Germans. And Hart is probably full of adrenaline for the next three days.

Ajax went down 1 - 4 against Real Madrid. There was never any real doubt about who was going to win. But Ajax got to score this time, and that is better than they have done against RM, in the recent past.

That's probably why they're rechecking the points, they can't believe it. :D ;)

they still haven't fixed the head to head ....

or am i wrong?

They really must have screwed up..lost one point from yesterday til today (think Elisbury Hill gained some - maybe he's pulling some strings behind the curtain??)

sorry for OT, wrong thread

According to the site, they're currently updating the tables so hopefully everything should be settled shortly. As I say, once everything is finalised I'll update the main thread – hopefully I can do that this evening.

Woy Hodgson may/may not have canned Rio Ferdy on a tube ride to the Emirates.

Personally i'm glad he did. A 35 yr old doesn't belong in a World Cup squad. Heck i still scratch my head as to why he is in Utd's first team.

What's more surprising is that rumor is Hodgson is going to apologize to him about said comments.

Probably fear of the race/discrimination card being pulled or another Ferdinand PR disaster. Seems people are wary of the Ferdinand Brothers now.

I would think it's more the case that a manager shouldn't be discussing the future of his players with random members of the public, particularly if he's not yet spoken to the player(s) in question.

It was a rather bizarre error by Hodgson, you would think that a manager of his experience would know better.

Last night PSV beat Napoli by three goals.
After all the pundits here in the Netherlands had said that they stood no chance.
Today there is a lot of quite funny explanations in the various news papers.:D

Oh dear Liverpool! Good game to watch for the neutral, but I don't think Brendan Rodgers is too happy, branding his players lazy
