Glad I could entertain you. At least most of my trash talking (tebow aside, I can't stand that dude) is related to what actually happens on the field (lol butt fumble) and not what a player does on his own on his personal time in the offseason.

My bad, I went back and looked. You only trash talk about things happening on the field.

Peyton is going to teach little Mr. Dirty Sanchez what its like to be a real quarterback, and not just a wanna be surfer boy from the university of spoiled children.

I hope Sanchez blows out his knee. and Rex Ryan has a ****ing stroke from being a fat piece of ****.

On a side note, does Rex Ryan ever shut the **** up? Apparently only when he's eating cheeseburgers...

That fat **** ryan just makes it worse by running his mouth non-stop. He should stick to licking feet, and maybe he can talk when he actually wins something.

lets not get ahead of ourselves though... still have two rounds of games before the super bowl.. anything can happen... well except the jets winning! haha suck it you fat **** rex ryan

while don't agree with much of what he said i do feel he is right about ryan.

ryan = attention whore.

but wishing people would get hurt and have strokes. wow. just mean.

With all do respect what have I said about the Patriots that others have not said about the Cowboys or Jets, or the Bills 4 years in a row after choking in the Superbowl. The Patriots have become a target for the way they play and used to win. People are dicks to me all the time about the Yankees and it doesn't bother me.

Reminds me of those who can dish it but can't take it.

Trash talking about Cowboys (Ok)
Trash talking about Jets (Ok)
Trash talking about Pats (fear the wrath)
Trash talking about Yankees (Ok)
Trash taking about Bosox (oh lord!)

Ha.

Cowboys in 14 (could be in 14 years or in 2014!)

It doesn't bother me either if it's about the game. I get that people want to hate on the Pats, it comes with the territory of winning. You were fine until you tried to insinuate that because the coach is in charge of personnel too it turns his players into criminals.

Some could argue that the Yankees are dead, maybe even me. Are the Pats a has-been franchise, no, the Dolphins yes. My problem is the media hyping the Pats as winners when they haven't won anything in 5 years but ESPN would have you believe they are the champions. Plus I think Bellicheck is a pompous ass.:p

To be fair, I also don't like the media hype over the Jets who haven't won anything since Joe Naimith.

Here's the solution: Don't watch ESPN. It's ****ing garbage TMZ quality reporting. I stopped watching it about 2 years ago and haven't looked back. There's a reason there was an article earlier this week about how ESPN's ratings were lower than they have been in a long time.

My bad, I went back and looked. You only trash talk about things happening on the field.

Well you probably have way too much time on your hands, and you might want to use some of that time to look up "most" in the dictionary (It doesn't mean "all").

There's a difference between those posts there and trying to imply the coach has some fault in his players' criminal activity. That's where I personally draw the line. Trash talk the team about football, the coach & his coaching style, etc all you want. Call Belichick a douche all you want, I don't care, I'll just give it back. :p But when the line is crossed and people start suggesting the coach has partial fault in a player getting a DUI thats when I'm going to start defending my team because it's just crazy to even suggest. I might trash talk a lot but in none of those posts do I accuse Rex Ryan or any other coach/organization of turning their players into criminals even though every single team has had their fair share of arrests in the last few years.

Meh, if I had a quarter for every time I heard someone say they wanted someone to take Brady out I'd have enough to buy season tickets.

Everyone stop obsessing about the Patriots!

10 DAYS UNTIL TRAINING CAMP. :D

We should make predictions for fun and see how close we get.

Patriots 10000000-0
Miami Dolphins 3-13
NY Jets 0-27

:D

Seriously though I enjoyed this article:

http://www.bostonglobe.com/sports/2013/07/15/life-inside-prison-for-aaron-hernandez/k5GQZjyKZvy5aRgnZ3ndFL/story.html?s_campaign=sm_tw

NORTH DARTMOUTH — Inmate No. 174594, formerly No. 81 in your Patriots program, exercises alone in an 8-foot-by-12-foot padlocked cage in the courtyard of the Bristol County House of Correction.

For one hour a day, Aaron Hernandez gets to breathe fresh air and maybe get some sunshine amidst the chain-link fencing, roof, and razor wire. He does sit-ups, knee bends, and push-ups on the concrete floor, according to prison authorities.
...
For 21 hours per day, Hernandez is locked in a 7-foot-by-10-foot single cell. There is no air conditioning, no television, no coffee, and no weight room.

“This is not the Ritz,” said Hodgson.

Legit Predictions? I'll pick division winners I guess.

NFCE: Philly
NFCS: Atlanta
NFCN: Green Bay
NFCW: San Francisco

AFCE: Tom Brady
AFCS: Houston
AFCN: Baltimore
AFCW: Denver

Really torn between SF/Seattle, and Houston/Indy. Oh and the entire NFC East.. who the hell knows what will happen there.

NFCE: Philly
NFCS: Atlanta

NFCW: San Francisco

AFCE: Tom Brady
AFCS: Houston
AFCN: Baltimore
AFCW: Denver

I honestly would not call the patriots a legit contender considering a very weak receiving core and all the distractions. They might win their creampuff division though.

NFCE: Washington (reach pick)
NFCS: Atlanta
NFCN: Green Bay
NFCW: Seattle

AFCE: NE (unless Buffalo surprises)
AFCS: Houston
AFCN: Pittsburgh
AFCW: Denver

Inexperienced? Definitely. I wouldn't say they're as bad as "very weak" (though definitely not a team strength). They'll probably be average. It all depends Brady, if he plays like the MVP they'll be good, if he has a bad year they'll suck. And Gronk's health.

Amendola is a solid player, Michael Jenkins and Donald Jones are both decent veteran guys. And Edelman showed some real flashes last year, if he can stay healthy he'll be good.

I'm most excited about Aaron Dobson though, their 2nd rounder out of Marshall. The guy didn't drop a single pass during his last CFB season last year. Great hands, decent size and speed, he's got great potential. I'm anxious to see him on the field even in preseason to see what he can bring.. he drew comparisons to Larry Fitzgerald during the draft process.

I like the Washington pick, they were good last year and have a lot of young guys. Depends a lot on how RGIII plays (obviously). Other than that our picks are quite similar. You have Seattle & Pitt where I had San Fran & Baltimore, but regardless of which of those teams win their respective divisions, the other two will most likely be wild cards anyways.

Should be an interesting year. I'm interested to see what Chip Kelly can do in Philly. Patriots had a ton of success running that super hurry-up last year that they modeled on Kelly's Oregon offense, so it will be interesting to see if Kelly can get the same results in Philly.

My picks:

AFC East: Miami Dolphins
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Houston Texans
AFC West: Denver Broncos

NFC East: Washington Redskins
NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC South: Atlanta Falcons
NFC West: Seattle Seahawks

Here are my picks:

My picks: I agree with ucfgrad93 on the AFC......... :)

AFC East: Miami Dolphins
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Houston Texans
AFC West: Denver Broncos

NFC East: Dallas Cowboys :D
NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC South: New Orleans Saints
NFC West: Seattle Seahawks / San Fransisco 49ers

NFC West is the only toss up I see right now for me.

AFC East: New England Patriots
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Houston Texans
AFC West: Denver Broncos

NFC East: Washington Redskins
NFC North: Green Bay Packers
NFC South: Atlanta Falcons
NFC West: San Francisco 49ers

Training camp is underway!

And apparently Tebow still sucks.

@tomecurran 32m
Practice over. Tebow horrendous. #patriotstalk

@shalisemyoung 31m
first session in the books...Mallett looked rough, Tebow was bad. Brady or bust.

‏@MikeReiss 28m
Tim Tebow wears red jersey with QBs but also takes part in some run-after-the-catch drills. Tebow throws 2 INTs in 11 on 11.

Was he suppose to become a super star on the first day of training camp?

I think it's going to take some time working with Brady and bellichick for him to improve, if he does at all.

If you listened to ESPN you would think he was supposed to.

I said when he was signed I wouldn't be surprised in the least if he is cut when the roster is cut down to 53... still think that's likely.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if the Pats kept him on the roster though in my opinion.

I mean if you really think about it he is not going to be a distraction because there is no QB controversy in NE... not even close. Brady is the man no questions asked and no doubt about it. The fans know it, the media knows it

If by some miracle he becomes a great passer by learning from Brady then the Pats may have a QB for the future..... If he continues to suck then I'm sure the Pats will have no trouble cutting him quickly and swiftly

So all in all this move is not the disaster that bringing him to the Jets was.

I completely agree as far as the whole QB controversy thing. There is no controversy here like there was in Denver and NY. Brady is the guy.

The problem for Tebow is that the past few years Belichick has only carried 2 QBs on the roster (Edelman was a QB in college and has been the QB3 the past few years). Right now he's not better than Mallett. So if Bill decides to go with only Brady and Mallett on the roster, Tebow has to carve out his own role and contribute somewhere else other than QB... that's the only way he'd make the team.

Should be interesting at least. If he can show he's valuable as a tight end/fullback and on special teams, he'll have a shot. If he can't show he's better than the other fringe roster guys at those things, he won't make it.

I'm so glad camp has started though and we can finally start talking about real football and not offseason drama anymore.

well I don't think the aaron hernandez trial is going to happen this year anyway. There might be bits and piece about his cold blooded murder case trickling in here and there but I don't know if it will be as much of a distraction this season as when the actual trial is happening, probably next year. But make no mistake when the pats are on the road the visiting team crowds won't let them forget about it

Meh, it's not like there was a love fest with the opposing crowds before this happened.

Good teams don't let the crowd affect them. If the Pats want to be good again this year, win games, and make the playoffs, they'll have to tune out the crowd and distractions like all good teams do.

These guys are professional athletes, they're used to it at this point. Some of them even thrive on the boos. Ask Rodgers or Manning if they'll let the opposing crowd affect their game. If a pro athlete can't handle that, they're in the wrong profession.

I'd like to see ESPN go back to talking about sports (haha fat chance). Right now it seems like they're a hybrid CourtTV/TMZ fighting to be the worldwide leader in tabloid gossip, instead of the worldwide leader in sports. Must be why their ratings are lower than they have been in a long time.

what I'm curious about is whether or not teams will now start taking a closer look at these questionable people before bringing them into their organizations and risk sullying their reputation? It happens in all professions but when you are in as much of a spotlight as the NFL teams are you have to be really careful with what you want your public perception to be. The Raiders took their bad reputation and ran with it for many years. Some teams embrace bad behavior while other teams market themselves as family-friendly. The Aaron Hernandez murder case will be a benchmark for how NFL teams embrace public perception for many years to come. I mean, if I was an owner and my organization hired a murderer such as Aaron Hernandez I know I'd have to think long and hard about my recruiting team moving forward.

I can hear it already:

AAAAAAAA-RON AAAAAAAA-RON AAAAAAAA-RON

I hope they do. The Patriots never play better than when they feel disrespected or slighted in some way. It's better to for them to be 'us against the world.'

That said, I don't think they'll let it distract them. Maybe press conferences will be a bit annoying for awhile. God I can't wait for football.

I think they'll be quite entertaining. Watching reporters ask Belichick the same question over and over and get shot down every time is funny.

Every time there's a new development in this case you know some media hack is going to ask him about it. And they'll get the same answers every time.

"We're here to talk about the players in the locker room." "I can't comment on an ongoing legal matter." "We're just trying to get ready for the Dolphins game this weekend." etc.

should be another interesting rivalry between the packers and vikings again this year with jennings and rodgers mincing words. Just have a question for Gregg, who's going to throw you the ball? :p

Man, players are dropping like flies the past few days. Pitta is done for the year in Baltimore, Harvin is going to be out some time as well, and now the Broncos have lost starting center Koppen, probably for the year, with a torn ACL.

As far as the Pats are concerned, I dont know how some think they are a lock to win the division. Yes, they should be the favorites because of their history, but Miami is going to make a run at them this year, and beyond. They are young, talented, and added a lot of speed this offseason. The DLine is one of the best in the game, and adding a Jason Taylor clone in Dion Jordan, opposite of Wake, will only help. Wheeler and Ellerbe are going to help in the LBer department, and Grimes is on his way back to his pro bowl form. And when all is said and done, Jones is going to be one of the top 3 safeties in the game, which he was close to last year.

The OLine is a concern, but they have a solid right side, and one of the top centers in the game. Miller is going to be a sleeper at RB, and with weapons like him, Wallace, Gibson, Hartline, and Keller, I expect big things from Tannehill this year. You still have to knock down Brady and Bellicheat for the division, but Ireland has definitely built the best team in the AFC East to do so.
