Well played Japan, - they were extraordinarily tenacious in coming back twice - but, for the sake of African football, it would be nice to see Senegal advance to the knock-out stages.
No I just prefer teams that matter not Argentina that chokes on the world stage. I have been watching football for well over 20 years. I am not talking about historically. I am talking about current football. There is no central or South American teams that are worth watching other than Brazil. They are the only one that can hang with European teams.
Other than Mexico, how are those teams doing? Yeah not so well. Also Mexico aren’t worth watching as the dirtiest team that will make it to the group stage.
Group H is nicely set up for the last round of matches. Anything could happen. Senegal were the more dangerous team today but Japan’s game management was better.
I’m new to soccer and don’t have a favorite...and enjoying all the matches I’ve watched so far.
I don’t have a favorite either. I like Spain a lot because there style is my favorite. I enjoy England, Brazil, Portugal, and Belgium. From what I have seen, I think Belgium is the best team thus far. Not my favorite team, I just think they are the best. Have nothing against any other team other than Mexico. Not a big fan Argentina either, but that’s only because of everyone trying to give Messi an excuse for not playing well this WC. Other then that, I enjoy it all.
Sorry guess I have to clarify. The one most people call America, the USA. We are known as America if you didn’t know that.
No, most people call America America. If is the people from the United States of America that have it wrong.
Sorry not having this discussion with you again. I assume your from Argentina the reason you keep defending a team and player that was grossly under performed this World Cup. No excuse for that.
No, so that’s not true at all. Ask any of these Europeans in this thread. You do realize we have America in the same of our country right? It’s just short for United States of America. Seriously most people refer to the US as America.
Yep you are correct. Germany has not looked good this year. They should be called out as well. Although, no one is arguing they have the best player in the world on their team. Brazil though, starting looking like Brazil yesterday. Don’t see them having any issues getting out of the group.

How was the continent labeled in the first map that used the name: America. Where was the label placed: South America

When someone is referring to the United States, they say America. They are not referring to the continent.
