I’d prefer City as I have said before.
My friend who I’m seeing tonight is an Arsenal fan, so I’m sure he’ll be happy!
Yes, I am, too, (for now) although I would like to see a little backbone in that defence.

Peter Crouch just signed for Burnley. This made my day.![]()
Is there any team in the EPL he hasn't played for??Peter Crouch just signed for Burnley. This made my day.![]()
West Ham. He doesn’t spend enough time injured for us to sign him!Is there any team in the EPL he hasn't played for??
Agree all the big games are yet to come. Like West Ham v Liverpool! I fear the worst.Chelsea was in the scoring mode today. Should be good matches tomorrow with the Manchester's playing Arsenal and Leicester.

I’ll swap your injuries for ours!Well, I am not sure that I can anticipate tomorrow's clash with any great degree of optimism.
Pity our defence (with the injuries suffered by Bellerin and Holding) is so banjaxed.
Mind you it’s actually the longest Andy Carroll hasn’t appeared on it! Just as his contract is due for renewal! Am I a terrible cynic?Well, yes, your injury list is quite impressive.
Ours, alas, is in the already brittle (and porous), but, under Mr Emery, improving, area of defence.
Had almost forgotten about poor Welbeck, and had actually forgotten about Mkhitaryan. Oh, dear.

West Ham attract the sort of players that come with glass knees and balsa wood ankles. We must have a nice treatment room! No, probably a reluctant realist.

I'd forgotten you had Wilshere as well; he was always exceptionally injury prone when he played with us.
Good win for United which helps us against the mid table battle with Leicester.
Also as Rashford is my fantasy captain and he scored, happy days!
City v Arsenal up next. Should be a good one.
A few weeks ago I sold Aguero for Aubameyang! Kiss off death being in my FF team. Especially as he now has a hat trick.Rashford's confidence has clearly returned under the positive man-management he is experiencing with OGS.
Elsewhere, Manchester City lead Arsenal by two goals to one, with the second half about to commence.

My Arsenal friends are not happy, 3-1 so far for Man City.
Big teams win, small teams lose. Nothing to see here.
Arsenal are struggling, but this is a rebuilding year. People got a bit excited during their winning streak but there is still a lot of work to be done. Plus, it's obvious that, unless the Liverpool project finally comes to fruition, the Manchester duopoly will continue to dominate English football for...well, forever, the way the money is locked in.
But rebuilding the team will still leave you fourth or fifth. I don’t think you have the funds or the pull to compete with the Manchester teams and Liverpool.Agree that this is a rebuilding year - possibly even two years - for Arsenal.
That winning streak (as with Chelsea's earlier winning steak) allowed perhaps for a degree of over-optimism to take hold.

My goodness your defending for that first goal was shocking. Red and white shirts everywhere with no idea what to do!At this stage, I don't see us achieving anything this year, (except a bit of team building, along with confidence building and the development of a serious team spirit) and frankly, we'll be fortunate to make fourth.
Astute purchases in the summer, along with some recoveries from injury (and a bit of a clear out) might serve to stiffen defence; there are the bones of a very good team in Arsenal, but it is still very much a work in progress.
