Three points that is all Im saying today.

Its not easy supporting Arsenal.
This was the very point made (nay, stressed) by Nick Hornby in "Fever Pitch".
That’s easy. At least you know your team is **** hence the bad results.
Well, yes.
Our Team is their own enemy even when we are winning.
At times, unfortunately, this is all too true.

Still, three points are three points......

Liverpool look absolutely toothless. Every match against a bottom half team now carries the same script - they know a low block / counterattack will work against ‘Pool and every team in the league can realistically hope for a 1-0 or 2-1 win if they work hard enough.

Begs the question of whether all the missing strikers actually make any difference right now….

I knew that goal was legit, on sides as this might boost 'Pool confidence.
they need Mac Allister to play as he did last season and an onion bagger as well.

This is a game Liverpool would have won 3-2 last season. I don’t think the defense is much worse, but the goals have dried up.

But you could also argue that this should have been a 2-1 win. If you can’t keep Fulham out for 40 seconds you don’t deserve to be in the CL places.

Oof that is a damaging draw. To not beat a weakened, managerless, Chelsea side at home is poor

And that’s is a monumental result for Arsenal

In other news, can someone put Amorim out of his misery. It seems like he’s been trying to get sacked for a 3 months now with another pointed jab today

I’ve done a thing. Now it’s all up to the Football Gods and Arsenal.

Well......

May the football gods shine brightly on you (and those of us who ardently desire such an outcome to the season).
lol. Now you’ve reminded me of the Liverpool fan who worked for me. He booked the day off to go see Liverpools victory day parade the year they finished second! Took the pee for months.
Ouch: I can well imagine.

Well it has to be said that last minute Fulham equaliser was a world class shot from distance. Pace, curve, over the goalkeepers reach and right in the top corner, in off the aluminium. It really was an amazing strike. Whether there should have been someone closing him down is the question, but it was from well outside the box.

There is almost zero chance of Liverpool scoring, and only a tiny bit better chance we keep a clean sheet. This has a 2-0 Arsenal win written alll over it. I’d be surprised at a draw, even.

Sometimes you can only shrug your shoulders and acknowledge a piece of luck/skill. On the other hand, at that stage of the game, as soon as he gets the ball. - foul him.

Maybe there were some truth in the rumors that the compensation he was due was lowered considerably after Jan 1st...?

Or maybe he was just fed up, and therefore picked a fight...?

Probably the latter, and he finally got his wish. It seems he was making a point reverting to 3-4-3 when his team did well with 4-3-3. Basically buy me players to play my system.

Unfortunately Utd don't have as much money, and i'm guessing when he was told this he used the media to cause friction. Saying you will leave in 18 mths just communicates 'please sack me now'

Back to the drawing board...again for Che & Man Utd.

Sacking Amorim will cost Man Utd nearly ten million quid. I suppose that means Big Sir Jim will have to fire the club’s remaining employees to balance the books.

I understand your frustration, but describing Fulham as 'a bottom half team' is a little unfair. We sit mid table at 11th, with Tottenham, Everton, Bournemouth and Palace below us, 14 points to the relegation zone, and 3 from a European place.

No offense intended - just a broad generalization. I would not have expected to beat them, but the manner of the draw was frustrating.

I watched the highlights on MOTD, here in Australia (refuse to pay for the crap that is STAN). Liverpool seemed not to be able to work out a Fulham side play deep, and 5 back. I guess, with Liverpool down so many strikers, that only have one up front didn't help. Sadly highlights, are as they say on the tin, highlights. Much was made of Liverpool second goal, and I can't believe so many fans/pundits, trust how a groundsmen cuts the grass, than the technology.
Reed's goal at the end was outrageous, well executed, and just one of those moments, where 99 times out of 100, misses.

Fulham have become quite the counter attacking team of late, but we need are in the same boat as Liverpool, we need to strengthen our defence, and spend some damn money.
