With £1.23 Billion worth of talent I should think so!
Here I'm trying not to think of the games this afternoon. Really hoping for the best, but resigned to the worst. It's been a fun 14 years. One European trophy and far too many managers recently. Wished we had stuck with Moyes. I think our current manager is decent, but don't think he'll stick around in the Championship.
Somehow, I completely forgot about this, possibly on account of how much agony attended so many of their other scores.

Today, for once, I can rest content - actually, I can relax; a more than happy Gunner, here.
Moreover, I note that Kepa Arrizabalaga has been named in today's team - almost always something that sends a tense shudder of anticipation down my spine, presaging a premonition of horrors to come - and that Raya (doubtless receiving a well deserved rest) isn't even named amongst the subs, although his contribution was undoubtedly utterly vital to the team's eventual success in claiming the Premier League title.

We’ve had the better chances. But looking at the Stats looks like Everton haven’t really turned up against Spurs.

But failed to convert them, unfortunately.
Also unfortunate, even though - to his credit - Moyes (whom West Ham should never have fired - as you well remember, he has actually saved them twice) - is on record as having said that he would like to see west Ham stay up, and would try to do what he could to assist achieving such an outcome.
After having missed, or spurned, several of what we used to refer to as "sitters", that is, obvious opportunities to score that seemed easy to take, or, rather, easier to take than to miss.

Sitting at an Arsenal pub in Shoreditch, watching the final day. The West Ham goal just now got almost as much of an applause as the two Arsenal goals.

West Ham score - and now lead Leeds by a goal to nil; however, elsewhere, Everton trail Spurs by a goal, which means that they must now score twice.
Kepa isn't Raya.
Arsenal - after several games with clean sheets - concede a goal to Crystal Palace, which comes as no surprise to me, as Kepa was nowhere near it.

Poor West Ham: They lead by three goals to nil now. Sadly, this is the sort of form they that should shown - at least once more - earlier in the season.
