it only makes sense for Apple to release the ipod with touchscreen and wifi. I mean come on, we live in a world now that is constantly connected. Information moves at the speed of light. Everyone needs everything yesterday...not when they get home to their computer. Apple make a leap forward with the iPhone, why make a leap backwards with an iPod that is not connected to the world?![]()
I agree with you there, and that's the stance I've taken for most/all of the thread, especially one of optimism.
However the way you worded that reminded me of the iPhone and how lots of people were saying it'd be silly for Apple to release it without 3G. Cough cough lol. So now it's got me wondering!
I've never seen Apple go backwards within a product they've already achieved something with though, except maybe with the graphics card in the iBook/Mini but that doesn't count
