At least when you pay a sub for software, like Office and Adobe, you are paying as the company is continually working on the product, paying coders and coming up with new enhancements every year.

they did not write photoshop 40 years ago, and want money every single time someone uses it, whilst sitting on their ass not making it any better.

What's really amazing is how many times Apple has milked The Beatles in every direction possible.

Will this please be the end to apple and The Beatles cross marketing? I am SO tired of it. Really, hopefully this will all stop. apple acts like this is SUCH A BIG DEAL.

Macrumors has become a joke. Almost every topic is full of bashing over ridiculous things. If you guys hate Apple so much, why waste your time here. Go buy some Samsung products. If one read all the crap on here, you would never think the company being discussed is at all successful.

I have always wondered.

Why should anyone give them 1 cent now to listen to this stuff?

Crazy world where someone can work 40. 50 years ago and still get paid 50+ years later for that bit of work.

How about we pay a tool maker for every time we use their tool over the next 100 years?
Oh dam, another nail I've had to bang in with this Hammer the Beatles made in their factory 50 years ago, better pay them 1 cent again.

This logic is very flawed lol.

Remixes aren't originals; they're different songs. Remastering to improve sound is ok but remixing a song makes it sound nothing like it did when it was first released, messing with history and misrepresenting what you're paying for... the equivalent of George Lucas gong back and "fixing" things in old Star Wars movies.

Quit all your bitching. What's with this "oh...it isn't exclusive" junk? Who cares if it were exclusive to Apple Music? Do you need that exclusivity in order to rub it in someone's face, or what? Be happy that we're getting access to more and more great music.

This is a great gift to music streamers.

Good memories, as far back as seeing the Beatles in concert in 1966, I almost got expelled from school for having my hair touch my eyebrows lol.

“And any time you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain, Don't carry the world upon your shoulders. For well, you know that it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder”

"Baby, baby, baby oooh Like baby, baby, baby nooo Like baby, baby, baby oooh I thought you'd always be mine (mine)"

I like The Beatles but yes, they are super overrated. Queen is a million times better IMO.

I'm a sucker for both these bands but no one is actually better than the other, imho of course. They are different and both are great!

My personal opinion, is that most music sucks today, and has since 1978. Rolling Stones Some Girls was the last great album... you remember those? Where every song was great... not just maybe one song that was, well, OK? Come one... think hard... The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, The Doors (first and last), and a few more... This is why I started listening to jazz in 1979... the good stuff... not any of that wimpy kenny g cr@p. So, I think that Apple Music is bombing and they needed the Beatles to save them. Bash (or "hate" for you youngsters, hipsters, and the otherwise history-ignorant) away... I'm 55 and my feelings to get hurt as easily as you sheltered souls do.

I couldn't remember why I've stopped reading the comments on MR stories, and then I decided to take a peek at the ones for this story and suddenly it all came back to me.

I have lurked here, unregistered, for years now. The comments forum used to be mostly enthusiastic toward Apple and its products. Most of the time I just skim the headlines here anymore, as the comments are an endless "whinefest". Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with criticism when merited but well, never mind. BTW I love Apple Music, but I am glad to see the Beatles available on pretty much any service you'd want.

I was getting ready to put all my Beatles albums into my iCloud Music Library (and then spend time fixing whatever mismatched artwork and audio tracks they give me). Now I will just wait until tomorrow and click the little + symbol. Hoo-rah.
