Oh okay! Huzzah!! It started the shipping phase!!

I can't wait to hold this phone. I'm going to make the decompression sound effect when I open the lid.
Nice. My # is dropping ever-so-slowly now... 370. It's like watching the kettle boil!

Okay I will look one more time tonight... that's it!

So ok, if I can get a free Nano card from the Apple store that would be awesome, but will I need my carrier to activate it? Or I can take this nano card home and activate it myself online?

Or Apple store can activate it for me on site when they give me the card?

I did it myself last year. I have Rogers but I'm guessing other networks are the same. I just logged in to myrogers online and there was a link to change sim card. You just type in the number from the new card and wait a minute or so.

Don't worry apple will give it to you no questions asked come Friday. I've gotten sims for my friends and stuff. One time I was like "my buddy needs a sim for his new 4s" the guy asked what network and handed it to me.

@bigringit

If you already have an Account/Monthly plan with a carrier, just call them and tell them you want to switch SIM cards and give them the new number.

If you don't currently have an account/monthly plan then you need to bring the nano sim to a store.

I do have a plan with BELL

For those of you looking for a nano sim for their unlocked iPhone wireless wave in square one mississauga has plenty of them for the big three and fido that I know of. I just got mine for $10.

Thank you. Just ran and bought two Bell nano sims from WW. $11.20 after tax. Sweet.

edit: thought I'd mention I now have serial numbers on mysupportprofile on Apple.com

If I walk into the Apple Store around 1:30PM on launch day will it still be in absolute chaos? If all I want is a nano sim and I gotta wait more than necessary that would suck..

No you should be good. I would imagine launch line gone by noon or so given they are starting at 8. Last year I was there at like 4 and it seemed normal. Busy but not more busy then it usually is.

i think it would be best to go to any apple retail late afternoon. i wouldnt think it will be that much of a chaos cause they arent selling unlocked phones. that will for sure make less people line up. A lot of people with contracts reserved their phones as well.

It really depends on the location. It should still be organized where you can see who's waiting for the iPhone and who is just browsing at other things. Find a genius who isn't busy and ask for a sim card

Does anyone pre-ordered the unlocked version knows how can we get our nano sim on launch day?

I ordered 3 min earlier than that guy and mine is not showing up...The wait is killing me, its my first release day iPhone.

As long as it gets here by Friday, everything is cool....:p

Went in to Bell in Quebec myself. Pre-ordered and deposited 50 $ for it. They said they would call when they get the phone.

Anyone with Rogers? What plan are you guys going for?

I just updated from a Blackberry and want to know what plan to switch to!

The Super 6GB from when the GS3 came out. Just switched my plan to it.

200mins
Unlimited texts, picture and video messages
Unlimited evening and weekends starting at 6pm
My10 Canada wide
100 LD mins
Call display and voicemail (not visual voicemail though, it's not worth the $10 Rogers charges)
6gb lte

Comes to $74 after fees and taxes. I'm going to call detentions to knock it down soon.

i bought mine directly from apple unlocked and kept my 25 dollar cellphone plan LOL

I picked up a nano sim from a local Rogers on Saturday to avoid all this noise of going to the apple/Rogers store on launch day.

Sim is sitting gracefully on my desk waiting to be activated and inserted.

Is that this promotional plan:
Rogers

$73 6GB Plan (Promo is in-market from September 14th – September 30th)
200 minutes
My10 Canada-wide calling
Unlimited Messaging
Unlimited Evenings and Weekends starting at 6PM
6 GB of LTE shareable data
It's $73 + tax, right? Ahh, I'm still deciding what plan to get!

----------

The plan I want is $63, but because it doesn't have caller I.D. I have to pay $8m which brings it to $71, and if it's $71, I might as well add $2 for the promotional plan and get 6gb instead of 1...

Mines still not showing up on UPS but it now shows up on my support profile. I have a serial number now :D

I also see my serial # on my support profile as well. I just don't understand what's taking them so long to ship! I'm getting antsy!
