The question, Is Koodo fully on LTE yet? Last time I heard is they are still testing LTE.

They are running on the Telus network so I don't see why not. Koodo doesn't currently offer and LTE capable devices so that's probably why they have not mentioned it all. Plus the iPhone is still listed as coming soon, so they may mention it when they actually have the phone

There's no generic SIM cards, as each provider has their own. You would request on for Bell, Rogers, Telus, Fido (and likely Virgin, Koodo, etc..). They usually stock all.

For anyone interested... I sent a message Bell on Facebook to ask about getting nano sims... Got this reply:

It looks like there will be no pre-orders on the Sim Cards, they will be available at the stores on September 21st. As for the price it's $5 to buy the Sim Card from us. With regards to any activations fees you can ask the dealer if there is some promotions running to get these waived.

Very vague in terms of activation fees. I won't be happy if have to pay another activation fee - had to pay one back in February when a signed up to Bell on a 30-month rolling contract.

Koodo is not a service provider that the apple retail stores can deal with.

So you probably will have to pick up the nano sim card from a Koodo location. Good luck!

Yeah what a load of BS. Another activation fee to enter a sim card number on your account.

I stopped by several bell and rogers stores to pick up some nano sim cards. It was usually one of two responses - they either didn't quite know what a nano sim card was, or they thought I was stupid for asking before friday. Lol.

****ing Bell. If they tell me it's going to cost me to activate the card (it's bad enough they charge for it), I'll threaten to take my (no-contract) services elsewhere. And they still might not care.

Yeah, Koodo generally has better pricing and doesn't fully subsidize the iPhone (unless you go on one of their ******** more expensive plans).

My main line is on Koodo. Got a feeling I'll be cutting down my micro sim on friday.

^^ Cutting down the sim could be an option too. It doesn't look too hard, just need to slice off the plastic around the edges and shave off a little bit of the thickness.

Is the mirco sim card able to connect with the LTE network?

Yes the micro SIM is compatible with LTE, but you CANNOT cut it in order to use it as nano SIM because the chip they use is different. Doing so will damage your phone.

Is the mirco sim card able to connect with the LTE network?

It is. Best if it's the most recent version of the micro sim from Koodo - V3 I believe.

I put mine in an iPad and it connected to Koodo LTE. Of course, LTE isn't official just yet for Koodo.

Ordered from Rogers?

Damn.

Yes reserved with rogers... was #99 and #146 when i reserved on Friday!

Do you have a tracking number? Where is it coming from?

Tracking number does not work yet... they must have just labelled it and sitting in the warehouse still... email says will arrive within 4 business days... hope it'll be here on launch!
