As far as I knew the sims are backwards compatible. Certainly there is conflicting info but this page states it's possible:

Does your tracking number work? On the UPS link they sent it said it cant be found, but I figure UPS hasn't set it up yet
Edit: I ordered a 32gb black through Rogers at about 6am EST, I was number 830ish.
I just called apple because I have the same status. its been on preparing for shipment since Saturday. They told me they were having some dock issues with some orders, but they are worked out now and ready to go out. bad news is they pushed the date to sept 25th.

Placed my order at 12:20 (Pacific), for a 16GB black - got an "internal server error 500" warning right after I clicked confirm ordereek
. Momentary panic, but a few seconds later I received a confirmation email with order number, my details, as well as another email containing my official receipt. Also, my card has a hold on it for the amount.
The confirmation email read "Were working to get your new phone to you on or around September 21st. Once your order has been shipped, we will send you a confirmation email to [my email address] with an exact date of arrival and a tracking code."
No confirmation yet, and entering a phone number or my order number into UPS's 'track by reference' feature gives no joy.
Anyone else?
